No turkey comas here! Moms grabbed one of the 2lb packages of that killer beef fajita meat from that fancy beef store by us! 1911 beef is the name and its all locally raised and butchered cows and although a little pricey its worth it! Also having Spanish rice and refried beans made all fancy! My mom’s friends that’s half Mexican gave her the recipe she uses and they have like cream cheese and stuff added in and they are fire! Only 2pm so pics will come later! :eyebrows::headbang::cooldance:

Gonna try it next time but mom said she noticed a sign when she was checking out that similar to the fajita meat they now have a package premade up for carne asada for same price! Just a little different marinade and the meat is cut down into a little smaller portions vs some big slabs like in the fajita package! Wish they had smaller packages cuz its basically a 3-4 night commitment with the 2lb packages if we wanna finish it all between me, pops and the little bit my mom eats! Times like this a sous vide cooker would come in handy!

It freezes well, then just thaw and crisp it up in a pan for reuse. It’s not exactly as good as fresh, but your just gonna cover it in sour cream anyway
