Anyone know Levis labels...?......sorting out the wardrobe the other day...and I've always hung onto this pair of jeans simply because they are Levis.

Hubby only wore Levis 501's at one time..the older the better.....I saw these on a Spanish second hand stall about 20 years ago and knew by feel they were Levis and grabbed them for 6 euros...But...I didn't realise the button fly was women's.

I checked the inside label..read Poland and went...hmmmm fake.. everybody knows Levis are American..but a quick read up says yes..there was a big Levis production in Poland..

Everything I can look up says genuine...cept the top label looks slightly off centre to my eye..and the links say that the Levis label will always be 100% perfect.....any thoughts...?...

I don't know by labels, but you're dead right you can tell by feel.

Some looms made their way to Poland, Italy, Japan, and other locations.

Currently Gustin is one of my favorite new denim companies.

They have a really nice rainbow nep selvedge.

Also a big fan of herringbone and pinstripe denim.

I don't know by labels, but you're dead right you can tell by feel.

I'm a furtive fabric feeler.....

...I can tell a good cotton by feel..same with a good denim shirt..which was my other passion.

Hubby only wore 501's..so I knew the weight/quality was spot on...I just didn't check the fly fastening... ..

If someone said pick clothes that you are going to wear every day for the rest of your life it would be jeans with a crisp white cotton top..(or denim one...)
I never get bored of them....

I'm sorry @Frankthetank I honestly can't answer that. It needs @Son of Hobbes .

There are RP's in about it...Ive screen shot all the info for the staffroom..and the fact it is escalating over all time zones now...

I know Zenfro Devs have been on site..and it is getting worse since they were on site..but I have no current update..

Look pretty good. Check for the red tag and the stitches should be perfectly parallel. Check the waist button for the Levi's stamp and the number . The number on that n tag numbers should match. N feel the leather patch, does it feel papery or like good leather?
