Living Soil and Autopots/Irrigation systems

That's a great question.
I just made my own living soil and I put Devil cream seeds from sweet seeds in it.
I don't think they really liked it I just harvested the first one the leaves were very dry and crinkly although it was at the end of its cycle and it grew pretty well up until about 3 weeks back.
When it started showing signs of boron deficiency and maybe a couple other deficiencies as well but Autos are finicky from the get-go. My yield wasn't very big those plants don't yield that much anyways I've grown a couple of times now so I know they are not great yielders but the smoke is very good it's not a couch lock weed but the flavor is great and the buzz doesn't make you feel stupid.
The plants I don't think like the soil. The rest of my plants in the same bed and garden did for the most part with that being said I don't know I'm sure there's some folks out here that really know and grow a lot of Auto in living soil.

depends on what you mean by Irrigation system. living soil likes to be lightly moist,to just under field capacity.not wet with too much water. so drip system or similar would do alright IMO. but with these things like Blumats n stuff I imagine theyll also work. havent had the cash to try them yet but most likely theyll be fine. now for auto pots the premise behind auto pots is simple enough. the only issue I could potentially see is some pockets maybe with a bottom up wicking type system. but would work fine.again trying to not have them water logged or wet all the time. other than that it'll be fine.

Great! I think i'll try blumats and tweak it so i've everything lightly moist, most of the time. Want to cut as much time as possible from the garden, kinda busy nowadays.

Thanks for the feedback guys.
I bought some of those Blumats I haven't used them yet they're still in the package.
I guess the only reason why I haven't used them yet is I don't have a purpose for them to use them yet but.
I will have soon but right now it's kind of hard for me to set them up.
I'm always down there anyways paying attention to my plants.
but I know they're good people love them. So definitely would recommend them absolutely good call.

I was just listening to some podcasts called the “420 Live Resistance” that were panel discussions about Living Organic soil, not till and the like. They included Coot in one as well as Chris Trump and Josh Steensland and some of the panel members who do no-till are using SIPs and Blumats to maintain moisture. They challenged the conventional thinking that you should give your plants a dry-out between waterings.

Here’s a link to the no-till episode with Clackamas Coot. The host is a dweeb but the panel members are extremely knowledgeable if you just suffer through his initial ‘dweebness,’ LOL!

It got me interested in trying the Blumats.
