Mephisto Genetics Lizards mephisto hps V cobs grow off.

I ran a load of fastbud autos in small pots that needed watering twice a day...ballache man!!
Normally I water every other day in 12 litre pots, depending if its summer or not.if it's summer time,I can be watering every day...up to 5-6 litres of feed for each girl.

Coco can grow some bigguns if you give them roots some space. I've gotten up to 6 zips in a half gallon of coco (Heisenberg Special). So to keep the plants smaller I use half gallon hempy pots with excellent results. Smaller plants with ample bud is what I like. Downside is watering twice a day.

Sorry for the noob question but how many plants would fit in a 3x3 tent if they are yeilding 5 oz each? I'm planning my first grow and if coco really outperforms soil by that much then I will gladly water them twice a day.

Follow up question(s), which coco is the best coco to amend with super soil and how does the amendment process work? Do i layer the mediums or mix it all together?

Lizard king ive been following your past couple grows, always impressed man thanks for making this thread.

Day 5.
All ticking along nicely, apart from Walter White, she is giving me problems already! She’s looked like this since she popped the coco.im half tempted to pull her,but I’ll give her the benefit of doubt for the time being.
They were looking a little pale,so I upped their feed slightly.
Still boring boring boring lol.
Sorry for the poor quality photos...hps is shite for taking pics!
Group shot.

In a 3x3 I'd say 2-4 plants depending on strain size and amount of medium used.
I've given organic coco a run and organic soil seems superior to coco. For best results with coco, I recommend coco specific nutes. Makes a big difference in yield IME. If yield is not your MO, then I would use the GBD three tiered method.

Yield is exactly my MO. For my first seeds I chose creme de la chem. Gonna go with 4 3 gal (10L) fabric pots. Roots organic with Mephisto super soil. For lights I’m going with 2x QB304 boards by HLG. They say it has a 3x3 footprint for flower. Can you point me to where I can find GBD’s method just for future reference?

I am putting some serious thought into pulling Walter White, she looks like a bag of shite! Came up from the coco looking all messed up with twisted leaves.i haven’t got the patience to be carrying strains that aren’t gonna make the cut!
Some serious thinking is needed over night...I’m thinking of replacing her with either double grape,or grape Walker kush.

Just culled Walter white! Beary white has now taken her place.by the time she pops up,she'll be around 10 days behind the rest of the girls.to replace the Beary white that was going in cob tent,I've just put a double grape between paper towels :smoking:
