Mephisto Genetics Lizards mephisto hps V cobs grow off.

Anytime man! I'm the same way, as much as the cabbage plants produce absolutely supreme quality, I can get just as good quality in larger quantities with their larger strains  And yessir, she is more sativa leaning and that shows in the high with the initial energetic tingling you feel, but a few more hits and there's been more than my fair share of nights where I'm waking up on my couch at 3 in the morning wondering why tf it isn't 930pm the night before :pass:
Top man...and I look forward to spending many a messed up night on the couch with skylar :smoking:

Cheers dude, yeah I'm loving trident, she's got a lovely open structure to her...nice big side branches on her too.shes about 3ft tall at the moment, and I don't think she's started stretching yet lol? If you've only got 5 ft to play with, get her topped dude,do it at 4th node.i personally would top her if your short on height, should t hurt her at all,and it will spread out the main cola into multiple colas, keeping the dreaded rot at bay hopefully.
Yeah I'm really pleased with GWK,she's a good size for 15 days old.i think you could be right with skylar,I'm just waiting for her to burst into life man,but she's a lot smaller than her tent mates...she's 10 days younger though.ill just try and keep these girls happy and in check lol.
Thanks for looking in dude :pass:

***Noobie question alert***

When growing photos, if I were to top a plant, I would then try and clone it to create another plant. Does this work the same with Auto's? My initial thought is that it doesn't because the time it take to grow roots on the cutting would be in parallel to the time that the original plant was in veg, so the clone might start flowering before it had roots (or enough roots) to support it. Sorry don't mean to crap your thread, just trying to learn from those who have grown before me. Thanks!

Hey man, when you top a plant,it’s not cloning it dude, but I get what your trying to say.Cloning autoflowering seeds is difficult. This has led to the general belief that autoflowering cannabis cannot be cloned, as cuttings taken from a mother plant are forced to follow her “genetic timeline” and flower according to age at the same time that she begins to flower.
That was copied and pasted, coz I wouldn’t be able to explain it as well as that lol.

Yes I understand that topping is not necessarily cloning, but you can use the topped piece of the plant to create a clone. I didn't explain my thought and question well enough.
But on the other hand, your answer of "...This has led to the general belief that autoflowering cannabis cannot be cloned, as cuttings taken from a mother plant are forced to follow her “genetic timeline” and flower according to age at the same time that she begins to flower....", is the answer to the question that I was asking, and it is perfectly stated. Thanks for sharing that!

Ok I know this is my 1st time using cobs, but when should I be getting concerned that the plants are growing upwards? Is that a common trait with cobs? They were set at 3ft above the plants, and just gonna let the plants grow into the cobs, they just don't seem to be growing any taller?!

I felt the same way. I think the cobs are so "on point" plants dont need to reach so much ANDDDD the genetics are dailed in. My girl spread out pretty good but had to train her to take advantage of the lower branchs to maximize her

I set mine at 30 inches above the soil, works well for me. Are they all showing sex? The bottom left looks like its about to stretch and the others I think are still focusing on those all important roots. Looking good to me...

None of them have shown sex yet,but it shouldn't be long before they do.
I dunno,I just think they should be taller than they are at their age...I'll just plod along and see what happens with them.its not overkill on the cobs? I have 2 over 4 plants??
