Hey, just started a new grow got three of 4 Ultra Lemon Haze and a Northern Lights to pop still waiting on the blueberry. I am still trying dial in the room but for the most part running well. I can't seem to keep the temperature below 80 and humidity is steady at 29-32%. I am running 2 1000w open bulb with wings in an organic soil. I am on 20/4 but it has been a pain trying to sync the two timers.

Welcome to AFN longbottomleaf. Sounds like a great set up!! If you need anything, let us know!! We like details and pics!! Good luck on your other seeds poppin and grow karma to ya!

Welcome LongB!

Is it safe to assume that you are talking incandescent HPS or MH bulbs? 2000W is a grip of light...and heat production. My 2 cents, maybe get some cool tubes or some exhaust ventilation/hoods working on those lamps.

On the timers...My digital timer (from Amazon, not expensive) has two sockets on it and can control two items, maybe on of those is in order :)

Good luck, and again....Welcome! :)

Welcome Longy, is this your first grow or your current grow? Keep in touch and maybe set up a journal and we can share the fun.

Enjoy, eP.

Two timers...

The Timers:
I have to plug them into two different plugs in the room because they will kick off the power strip if I plug them both in to the same. I think I could draw both off of one plug/one timer but since the power strip is tripping I want to be carefully and plug them into two different outlets. I have two different 20 amp fuses but only one is dedicated to just the grow room the other has some daily house usage.

The heat:
/open bulbs- I am in Maine where it is winter 8-9 months a year so I am hoping that room temp will come down some as the outside temps do.

But here is one of the Ultra Lemon Haze seedlings at 10 days: IMG_1970.jpg

Ill set up a grow journal on these after the long weekend. I am going to be gone for Saturday and Sunday any suggestions other than drenching them right before I go... I am a little worried to leave them until Monday morning.

RE: Wattage - Ah yes...that makes sense....lotta juice. You'll have to forgive me, I'm an LED guy with not nearly the wattage.

RE: Temps - Same deal here....cooler temps coming. We don't have THAT much winter in Colorado but we do get our share of cold. ;) but it's a dry cold.....

it might be more natural to have both lights on slightly different times...half hour apart might actually make more sense...the sun doesn't slam on and slam off , it's a gradual transition from day to nite

I thought that too :)
