Hello all you good people.. at them moment I'm running a clw solar flare 220w , I believe it puts out 160ish actual watts. I have it in a 2x2 tent but I just got a new tent witch is 2x2.5 not a big difference but I'm definitely looking to add a light and just wondering what you guys think I have for options.. I was looking at the mars 2 400 specially considering where it's priced and the reviews to back it up.. unsure if adding the mars would be approaching overkill.. thanks to anyone who takes there time to read this and happy holidays and all that good stuff

Yeah I was going to recommend a small light from the reflector series as your just barely needing extra light. @TaNg says they're is a Sisson point in which u can over kill with lighting. I'm running a Mars II 1200 and just ordered an older mars600 to throw in with it in my 4x4 tent just for fun and to get optimal yield. 825 true watts altogether

Yee, I think that's my best route .. there isn't too many options for what lil i need.. I figured this would be a good place to ask. That 825 will be nice haha that's around 50 watts per sq ft I heard thats a good place to be ..thanks for sharing your thoughts.

No problem brother! I would recommend running your main light flat and maybe angle your new one you get just slightly for good penatration into the canopy from the side

Why not another solar flare? I can't say I've used one but I do love my solar storm's. The 440 is small but versitile I'm currently growing a monster Auto Ultimate underneath one . The UVB makes a noticeable difference in resin production . the 880 is a big girl and is blinding to look at but a little on the heavy side compared to the 440 s. If you emailed California lightworks and asked to trade up for one of the 440s you might get a worthwhile deal. They are really good to work with. I had a few diodes out so they shipped me a new light with a return label for the broken one.

The 440 does look like its some good stuff..another solar flare in my space would put me about 70 watts per sq ft.. I wouldnt really want to run more then I need.. I actually really like clw , they have the quality and some aswome customer service.. California light works was a huge help with my initial set up.. wouldn't hesitate to give my recommendation.. I actually chatted with them about this too lol.. if I had a bit bigger space the 440 would def be something I want.. thanks btw
