Lowest fan leafs yellowing then turning brownish and crispy and dying.

420ing,

Are you adding your nutrients to the water 1st then correcting pH?

Always add what nutrients and supplements to the water...THEN adjust pH.

Gotta go through your grow journal to see what's what. Been Vaping and just came online to see your "Yellowing" fan leaf post.

Muddy's on it too. No worries, Man.. Muddy knows his ......stuff.......

Hi BayLee420 nice name lol. My water seems to be between 6.3 and 6.7 it fluctuates between this depending when i test it. I stupidly forgot all about testing the PH of the water after the nutes had been added untill a couple of days ago then when i checked i could see it was too acidic with even just a little bit of Magne Cal+ added to it. Same with the Hy-Pro Teera Grow & Bloom that i used just once so far. Considering this i think im lucky that i only just started to notice problems with the plant like the lower fan leafs yellowing and turning ugly.Im glad that i managed to fix it apparently just by pouring some water through the soil but i know that this has most likely slowed the growth, washed out nutes form the soil that it was probobly already lacking anyway and stressed the plant cause the water was a bit cold lol.

Forgot to mention that it seems she was tied down a bit too tight cause the very top part snapped lol. Im not bothered tbh i hear its the worst thing u can do to them but as far as i can see it's growing amazing and confident its gonna grow great buds! It was only the very end part that snapped it could have been worse and snapped further down cause that part looked the most stressed but i guess i was wrong and will remember not to be as harsh on it next time and probobly loosen it as it "learns" where to be. Im just annoyed that it happened just before i went to go and loosen it off!

Just to update on what the situation is as of now i have baking soda and also the PH of my soil has risen up to 6 the whole way through the pot. Im now going to make up some nutes + magne cal+ and try to fix the PH and give it a little feed then let it dry out before giving it more! Im just wondering.....what should i make the PH of the water with nutes in it now that the soil is 6? I was thinking 6.5?

Some pics here showing how the damage has progressed a little since yesterday.

Hello again! I thought i'd share a couple of pics here just to show what has happened since the last time i was here. I managed to get soil PH to 6 and have fed her because i did start to notice those orange calcium burn spots starting to appear on some of the newer growth again.

I gave her a 1/4 strength dose of Hy-Pro Terra Bloom & Grow and full strength dose of Magne Cal+ and left her with a small fan blowing air up from the soil not at it to help her dry out a bit quicker after all the liquid she has consumed. Almost forgot i added a tiny tiny amount of mollasses to the water aswell just to give the bacteria in the soil something to eat and add a bit more phosophrus. I PH'd the nutes to 6.5 this time aswell to make her happier. Hoping that's what i should have done?

Good news is i see alot of new growth and the start of budding already and the damage seems to have slowed down alot. I know im still new but i have a feeling she's better now and just needs to recover over the next few days. There's a bit of a yellowy colour to the newest growth but i think that's because of all the water she had a couple of days ago and lack of feeding untill now. I expect her to green up a bit more and keep producing buds! Just a bit concerned with height now.....worst comes to worst i'll figure something out though :) Thanks for all the help and interesting reading!
