Having a problem with her now. I couldn't understand why my PH was climbing so high so quick and she wasn't drinking. Problem was a light leak. It was caused by the stem getting bigger then the hole I cut in a piece of mylar to cover the net pot. It caused it to raise almost 90 degrees on on side. Don't know how long it has been like this, but the gray slime developed within the last week. It is severly blocking water and nute uptake. Picked up some hygrozyme at the store today. Will do the HG an h2o2 directly. I have been rinse the slime away gently since last night. Pics of my mess later this evening. Got some work to do now.
The hygrozyme is doing a number on the slime. Put her back on nutes and hygrozyme. Believe I will still pull a decent harvest off her. Hopefully some of the pollen took!
I haven't used h2o2 on her yet. This is my first time using the hygrozyme. Wanted to see if it would take care of the problem. I have h2o2 on standby if the problem persists. All preliminary indications are that the hygro will take out all the slime by weeks end.
She is one chunky plant for sure. I view this as a minor problem. I think it would have outrun death for a nice yield. Just one more nice thing about autos.
