Cant say I agree 100 percent with that statement here's some that weren't trained I rarely do

Some nice looking flowers and ty for your input and experience. At this point I still feel torn. Will probably follow @Suki813 advice and listen to the plants. Maybe I'll train em, maybe I won't...go with the flow always seems to work best. Thanks everyone for your 2 cents

So I'm growing a Skywalker and Forum Stomper next. But I'm having trouble finding info about LST and those particular strains. Just curious if anyone has grown them with low stress training or without. What did you find worked best? I really like LST but am tempted to let them grow naturally since they will be my first Mephisto strains. Thoughts?

I just looked those 2 strains IMO Id do some leaf tucking and let em grow

As soon as I get a well developed 5th node, I remove under 4 and train throughout the grow, separating nodes around the pot.
I like to keep them compact, exposing fans and bud sites to as much light as possible. While this LST style rarely yields more than 6-8 ozs.,
it's consistent with 0 defects. Auto Blueberry Domina.

If you go on Mephisto sight he explains what to expect from the plant and what phenos do what. You can never go wrong leaf tucking. I like to top some plants but I lean towards fimming myself. You just must figure out if you have confidence in what you are doing and if the plant is growing well enough to take the abuse. My present grow I had some adversity, things went south at the beginning so I did not train, well thing got better and now I have huge unruly untrained plants, which is not how I normally grow. But some plants the lower colas are up to just under the height of the main cola. So you really have to grow some of these plants out or research them to figure out what will be best.

I've never let a plant go without training. I have to constantly be messing with things. So far, most autos can handle the abuse. I'm no expert, and probably never will be. So if I'm growing a plant that can't handle abuse I just don't grow it again.

Me too. This is the first time I have not trained the plants in years. But I am willing to see what I get vs training. I am a final wieght and smoke kinda guy. So when I am finished I will see what I get. I had an issue early on and I was not sure if I was going to be able to correct it so I let some of them go this time.
