LST gone wrong

I was trying to bend the main stem of the plant. I made some fingernail indents and was gently bending when… snap! I seem to have broken about 2/3rds of the way through the stem. Fortunately, I have two nodes below the break. Is there any hope for the plant to mend itself? Thx

Don't panic. Assuming you have a good environment and proper nutes, I think you have two options here: (1) put some tape around it, support it if necessary, and keep it straight - it will form a big ol' knuckle; or (2) do some super-cropping if applicable. I can't comment on (2), as I've never done it. But I have cracked a few main stems, and they've turned out fine

Thanks, I found some info on stem repair. I braced it with a chopstic and tape. I’ll have to leave her alone now. Lesson learned: “gentle “ is relative and don’t panic!
