New Grower LST questions

Hey AFN i am currently on my second grow and i am a little over 4 weeks into it, i was thinking of doing some lst on my babies but didn't know if i was too far into my grow or not, here is a link to my current grow

thanks i was unsure as i have never tried it before, but every grow i see using lst it always seems to help so thought i should give it a go, where on the branches should i wrap the twine around?

Hey Larry, you need to get fairly high up on the plant. It is really determinate on the height of you plant but generally speaking about two nodes from the top directly in the middle of the internode. I have found it is best to LST about two hours after a watering. The stems are pretty pliable then and seem to take the load a little bit better, one caveat though, watch the root ball! You want to be careful when pulling them. Once again, depending on the size of the plant, try to go about half of what you think you need then let her rest for the night. Then try the remainder the following night. Basically you are wanting to give the lower nodes an opportunity to catch up with the two main colas to spread the canopy out nice. Best of luck brother, better to go slow than have to start over.

you can start at any time , the longer you wait the slower you have to go a little at a time.....hell you can lst it to it's self if need be.

so maybe 1 or 2 branches per plant at a time just now and then do more tomorrow or the next day?
