Hi
I wanted to order 2 more Citi 1818 cobs to add to my current cob system but Cob Kits were out of them and I was told that they probably won't reorder them as they claim the Luminus cobs are brighter and cheaper. Can anyone verify that for me? Thanks

It's true, they're cheaper. If you drive them hard, they're better choice.

Yes I have the 1812's not the 1818's though. I'd love to do a side by side and see which one grows and extra lb lol. Haven't tried the luminus yet. It's one of those things. They may be better but every time you chase the best or better you spend 10x more than you saved so I'm sticking with what I have hundreds of. If your not in a rush try cdi. Not sure how their shipping is.

Thanks for all the replies! Right now I'm running 4 1818's one one 4 ft frame running at 60 watts each. My plans are to break that frame up into 3 sections with 2 cobbs each at 50 watts a piece. I guess I want to stay with the 1818's so I'll probably have to find a different source. Thanks again. :toke:Pipes
