Lighting Made the Change to LED - R.I.P. HPS

Made the change, running twin 600hps was just killing my electric bill. It was overkill anyway my open grow was just 5.5 x 6' I only needed one (but had two ) Guess Im fixing to find out if there are any adverse effects to switching light sources in mid grow. I'll have to watch them closely. Just switched to flower 10 days ago.

congrats! did it myself a couple yars ago... don't regret the transition at all... LEDs rule!

I'm no expert, but get a lumen meter or use one of those phone apps to make sure you're in the sweet spot? They say 60k lux for flower.

I just started using a guide to see about dialing in my lights a little more. I'm in veg, so I'm running 18" away and have the dimmer so I'm getting about 40k lux at the top of the canopy. The LEDs are killer, so bright.
