A couple of my plants were showing some yellow spots on the leaves and curling up 2 days ago. I moved the light up a couple inches and check for bugs. All good. Today I wake up and half the plants are now showing some yellow and curling up at the tips and edges! Am I correct thinking this is a Mag deficiency? Tested the PH's and all where in 6.2-6.8. My soil is a blend of equal parts FFOF/ FFHF/ Top soil/ perlite. Room as been 77 degrees at day with 40-45% RH and 68 degrees at night with 35-45 RH. I have two fans running in the room, one mid sized osculating fan and one osculating air purifier. Thanks for any help

I'm running a 250 watt HPS and its probably 16-18in away from the canopy.

Even for a relatively small HPS, that seems a little close for seedlings....my 2 cents. In addition to the soil being a bit hot (FFOF)

All the other environmentals seem spot on. It may just need to get a little bigger to work through being susceptible to the ferts.

Have you got fans extracting old air and bringing fresh air in or just the two moving it round?

it looks like light/heat stress im not the grow dude but i have stressed my fair share of plants

Have you gave them any nutes at all? They should be getting plain water in that FF soil.. Your light may be a little close but also depends if you are running a cool tube or it's just a bulb above the plants. If you don't have a cool tube to cool off that bulb it's going to be too much even with a fan at that distance.

Pictures in regular or natural light would help with a diagnosis....

The HPS I'm using is a all in one Hydrofarm hood and ballast. No cooling tube, but does run a small fan in the hood.I have 3 thermometers in my room, one reading air temp in room, but not in direct light. One at the canopy, and on down at soil/ pot level. Light intesity reading at 7,000 lux at canopy... I have not be using any nutes at all. As for air, it two fans that are moving around air, but I open opposing windows in the room for a hour in the AM and PM and set them up to move air in and out... Could be better, but this room is not a perment grow area as I'm just using it for a starter room. I've been taking them outside, for the last 4 days, for an hour to get acclmated to the sunlight and outdoors. I've been using a 30% shade cloth over them the whole time they are outdoor.

I'll get better pics tonight when I get home.

Trap I think Your right. Screw FFOF when it comes to auto's. Never herd of this problem with photo's.

Here are some better pictures of the girls outside this AM. One picture is to show you the shade cloth set up for when they get outside time. They didn't get any outside time yesterday just cause we were both stressin out and didn't need to have more. lol I measured the light height last night when I got off work and my height was at 18.5in from canopy. I moved it up to 22in just to be precautious. Honestly I think it's gotta be the FFOF cause this burn is only effecting my Mazar, Cindy Widow, and Snowstorm, and NOT Think Different or Med Gom. The were a little on the dryer side so I flushed the today while they sit outside... what do you guys think form the pics.
Thanks in Advance
