Old Reviews Magic Flight Launch Box on its way.

Eh, yeah. When I started I had a device that looked like a cigarette, but it wasn't nearly strong enough. And most of the liquids available at the larger places aren't that strong. They usually cap out at 24mg/ml tops, and that wasn't nearly strong enough for me. If I didn't find cheap places selling 32-36mg/ml, I'd still be smoking now.

With that out of the way, at least you're familiar with the base liquids (whether you realize it or not). The two liquids used for vaping are vegetable glycerine and propylene glycol. Some people will have a sensitivity to one or the other; if you used their liquids (which were inexpensive Chinese liquids, most likely PG by a wide margin) and didn't experience coughing fits, wheezing, or hives, then you're likely fine with PG. PG will taste 'cleaner' (less of its own flavor), VG produces a denser, sweeter vapor that feels more like smoking for most people. In any event, you can find safe PG at a lot of farm and tool shops (farmers will sometimes use it to sweeten feed), and VG can be found at any pharmacy in the 'beauty' department. Or if you're patient and don't mind shipping costs, I could list a bunch of places I've used online to grab the liquids.

Using BHO/QWISO is the easiest. I'd use 1g per 10ml of liquid for a light effect, 2-3 times that for a more medicinal effect depending on tolerance. I sometimes like to make up a weaker batch because I vape pretty constantly. Since my PV (personal vaporizer, an 'advanced' e-cig; I regularly use what's basically a G-Pen for my nicotine, but I paid far less and get adjustable voltage with mine) is attached to my mouth like a baby's bottle and I can't be out of my gourd all day every day, sometimes weaker is better for me. You can add the material directly to your liquid of choice and be done with it, but that can take some time to dissolve completely (I've known folks who waited up to 6 months to use hashed VG liquids; it's a great solvent, it's just slow as hell). You can speed this up by using high proof alcohol. As always, everclear is best, but 151 will work if it's what you have. 151 can impart an odd flavor, but it'll still work fine.

So, for example, we take 2.5g QWISO and add it to 10-12ml of alcohol and put it in a dark place, making sure to shake it for a minute or two several times a day, and store it some place dark and cool. It also wouldn't hurt to warm it up, like on a heating pad or the like, every couple of days for 10-30 minutes, shaking violently after taking it off and before putting it back some place dark. After 2-4 weeks (depending on alcohol proof, amount of starting material, ambient temps, etc; basically when there's no solid pieces or thick chunks floating around) add the alcohol to 10ml of your solvent (VG or PG) of choice. I use a crock pot and a small pyrex measuring cup to slowly cook the alcohol off; you can use any other heat source that doesn't have a flame (alcohol vapors are flamable; we're trying to conveniently and covertly get high, not burn the house down), just make sure it has a low heat option and you can see how much liquid is left before you call it done. The slower the better here or you can end up with some weird flavors in the vapor.

When you have 10-11ml of liquid left, you know the alcohol is gone and it's ready to go. I have a large stash of plastic bottles with built in removable drip-tops from vaping that I'll load the liquid in to. I usually travel with a couple bottles of nic liquid anyways, so it works fine for me. Since all my equipment is 510 threaded (there are various threads for different pieces of vape equipment, all with their own hardware. 510 is the most common, but most brick-and-mortar e-cig equipment is 808 threaded), I'll also load up one of these with about a ml of liquid and be on my way. If I'm in a real saucy mood, I'll load up one of these, which holds 3ml of liquid. I have vaped all the time for years so no one even notices when I pull something like that out.

If you used VG the liquid might thicken up a bit, so you might need to open up the top of the bottle with scissors a little. If you used PG it may thicken up, but it won't be any thicker than VG is so it should be fine. You can add flavors, from basic menthol crystals to fireball candy, waffles, fruit flavors, or damn near anything else (I know at least one vendor that sells a crab flavoring) if you want, or just enjoy as is. Sometimes QWISO will come out with very little taste, so the flavors can help you enjoy it more. They can also mask the scent of hash in the air, so if you're trying to be stealth flavors can help.

I hope this makes sense. I'm sure theres a lot thats going to sound like Greek to some folks, so if it isn't clear, let me know. I can point out where to get anything I mentioned but the hash, so if you need some places to grab some of the stuff I mentioned just say something and I can point you to some people I've used over the years. The equipment talk can get confusing as hell, too, and I'll do my best to explain anything that doesn't make sense.

Edited to add: If you leave a small bit of alcohol (~5-10%) in that hashed VG mix it also makes a great breath spray or sublingual tincture, depending on how strong you made it. Do be careful with the glass breath spray bottles that seem to be everywhere these days; sometimes the cap can come undone if you keep it in full pockets. This has happened to me several times, as my pockets are usually pretty loaded. You can sometimes add a small rubber o-ring to the bottle before you screw the cap on (depending on how the bottle is made), but otherwise just keep that in mind.

Sweet! Bookmarked can't wait to try this I have access to some flavored moonshines can't wait to test it out and I think my buddy still has some hash bags so this shouldn't be to hard for me at all just need some hashish :D everything else where do you get it from the closest vendor to me is Michigan and I don't personally have my mmj card and I don't feel like driving my Jeep a few hours away i can't afford that.. Amazon.com is what I prefer it's usually the cheapest if not can you give a list of other websites that would have everything? Thanks man

Thanks for the reps and messages, I hope this helps some of you out. I'm not a big fan of smoking these days, so I like to use other routes myself.

You can use kief/pressed hash if you want, but it'll take a while longer than what I posted previously. The advantage of BHO and QWISO is that you get the oils contained in the trichomes but not the actual body of the trichomes themselves. If you look through the material after your BHO/QWISO run you can actually see the empty husks of all the trichomes; it almost looks like you missed all the tichomes, except all the goodies are gone. You can make QWISO from kief easily enough by putting a known amount into a small mason jar with at least twice the volume of 91%-99% iso. 91% is carried at many pharmacies, though your state/county/city may be different. I like using 99% myself (I got mine from my a job, but it's available on ebay and amazon cheap), as it has much less water and evaporates much faster. So add the keif and the highest strength iso you can find into a tightly sealed jar and shake the hell out of it. You're trying to use the air in the jar as an agitator to force the husks to break and release their oil. It's likely not necessary to be violent with it or to do extra washes, but I always do it just to make sure. So violently shake it, wait a few minutes as it soaks, then filter through a coffee filter into a larger jar (mason jars are great for this, as you can fasten the filter under the jar-lid band while leaving the lid off, meaning you don't need 3 hands to pull it off). I do this at least 3 times to make sure I've gotten all the goodies I can, then pour the combined washes onto a pyrex casserole dish on a heating pad set on low to evaporate.

As far as flavorings, solvents (VG and PG), and bottles go, I usually get mine from Azure Vaping, but that's because that's usually where I get my vaping liquids from. Being a high-nic, pure VG vaper my choices are more limited than most, but I also really enjoy what they offer and they're some of the cheapest I've seen. They do have pre-mixed flavors, as well as liquid sweeteners and menthol drops available. I also use Tasty Vapor, though not in a while. They have a good selection of flavorings and I love their bottles. Good Prophets also have bottles, flavorings, and solvents, though their selection isn't as large.

If you'd like to go from the ground up on your flavorings, many people like LorAnns; they've been around forever and there's almost no flavor you can't make with their oils if you know how to mix. Other favorites are Perfumers Apprentice and Faeries Finest. Their liquids aren't usually as strong, but many of them are less candy-tasting, so if you don't want a sweet mix they might be worth checking out. The rule of thumb when mixing flavors is to start at 10% flavor by volume, and adjust from there. Also, flavorings need to steep for a while to blend completely, so if you decide on a flavor mix be sure to wait 7-10 days for the flavor to be complete.

One note I forgot to add previously: If you're going to make a breath spray or sublingual tincture, make sure to decarboxylate your material before running the alcohol procedure. It'll just be an odd-tasting breath spray otherwise. This isn't necessary with vaping materials though, just the orals.

Edited to add: If you're not an e-cig user and haven't vaporized VG or PG before, make sure you drink more water than you usually do. Especially with VG. They're safe for vaporization (VG is what is used as a solvent for many nebulizer treatments), but they will draw water out of your body. So just as a heads up keep that in mind.

:jaw:Wow, I screwed-up my screen on my MFLB!!!!

But a new one is in the mail!!!

Dang, that is some pretty neat stuff right there. MFLB has got to have the best customer service. Send them a message with a couple of pics and they fix it. No questions asked!!!
Just AWSOME!!!

No jodas, I'm on my third mflb. But that's not a bad thing - I'm just terrible with things that aren't bullet proof. And the third has already taken a beating. Don't let this seem like a "hey its not a quality built unit if its always breaking..." No dude, I'm hard on my possessions. Broke one snowboarding, another just being high... anyways, consider this a 6 month update. The product and company are top notch and I don't go a day without using it. I'm about to get the power adapter and a few more rechargable batts for the road.

Tobacco and canna both vape fine in it and I've totally saved enough bling to pay for it just not purchasing cigs. And no cancer! Fucking win.

Anyway if you're reading this and still on the fence... hop down on my side and we'll vape some.

I've got a couple south beach e cigs tried to quit smoking but I couldn't it's ruff

Get a vape and use electricity to heat up tobacco to get the nicotine out of it. Its way better holmes. Good luck.

Didn't seem right to start a new thread about it, but i thought i would share my thoughts here.

So i ordered it from alibongo in the UK, they were about the only place that I could reasonably assume i was buying an official product from in the UK. Most other sites looked dubious at best and i wasnt willing to roll the dice on ebay or amazon.

I got the Walnut MFLB with a glass stem, a wooden stem and the fine finishing grinder - it was about £120 all in.

I was dubious about vaping because i'm a long seasoned joint smoker. I need to feel something in my lungs to tell me i'm smoking!

It took me a few goes to get that hang of it, but so far i'm impressed. It's small discreet and easy to use.
I can get a good lung full of vape and probably about 8 hits from a full trench.

I found the fine grinder really helped the burn. Infact i ground once with my normal grinder and then again with the fine finishing grinder.
I've smoked one joint in three days now and I'm feelng much better in the mornings for cutting out all that tobacco!

So in summary - if your on the fence and have the money spare, i say do it.

Draw backs - the batteries. One battery lasts properly for about 2 loads (they say one on the website) and I'll probably smoke 4 loads a night. so there's a bit of recharging to be done.

The batteries come without casing so it's a really good idea not to put them in your pocket with loose change (i found this out last night as my leg started to burn)

Other than that - it gets my vote and i'll stick with it!

Hope this helped anyone looking! ^_^

If you are going through batteries that fast, it sounds like you are smoking instead of vaping.

What I do is get it half full with finely ground (or dry ice hash powder). I turn the vape on for a few seconds,
when it looks cloudy, I turn it off. I then wait a few seconds for it cool off, then I toke.

I then open it up, 'grind' the material between thumb and forefinger to get it to be finer,
use the brush to arrange it neatly, and vape that. When it gets harsh or tastes like popcorn,
I put it in a baggie that I add in to my pot when I do a oil extraction.

Hmmmnm... I read threw this... am I the only one that doesn't use it... I have had the magic flight for over a year... maybe it's the batteries that are bad. It doesnt ever produce anything inside the vape chamber, well just a tad bit of smoke... I have to hold the battery in for over a min .. to get anything.. I see the screen under the channel lite up.. can anyone suggest I better battery that I can pick up local. Like wally world or somewhere , like that?.. ive tried different grinds as well.. Its been in my cab for over 6 months now...untouched.. batteries are plugged in.. any advice! Please!.. Lol

Ahh mine has collected so much dust since I got a volcano knock off. I believe the batteries I bought were 1300ma rechargables from wally world they lasted a long time between recharges.
