Blackshead
Hi guys!
I´m running this Blackshead auto and the day before yesterday some leaves started to get yellow. Is this a Mg deficiency?
Soil: peat + perlite, some composting liquid @ 3-1-1 NPK and a few days ago some peruvian bat guano. PH at 7.0.

The first pic almost looks like a slight burn from nute splash while watering, and it's common for a few very bottom leaves to yellow so I wouldn't worry to much unless it starts spreading.Your ph could be closer to 6.5 if possible.

Thanks. I checked it out and seems to be OK these lower/early leaves get yellow and drop. Anyways, I add some Epson salts. I´ve been trying to lower PH but to no avail. Watering with 6.3 water PH by adding lemon drops. BTW, organic.

.... lowers with overall color fade look like basic N defc., like Nammy said, some of which is normal at this stage,... mind your NPK#'s, especially PK now,.. what's the bat-poo numbers? you want higher PK#'s right now,..... your pH, is that actual in-pot, measured how? it's high if it's in-pot, you may start getting Fe/Zn lockout,.. no sign of Mg defc. to my eyes, but a little epsoms never hurts! about 1/4tsp /qt once or twice a week is fine,... the SO4 in it is also good stuff!

Hi Waira. The bat guano NPK is uncertain but said to be around 6-9-5. I thought about lack of N but this composting liquid @ 3-1-1 made the leaves very dark green and I suspected N toxicty. Soil PH measured with PH meter @ 7.0. Tomorrow I´ll apply some bone powder tea (0-20-0) and later some comfrey tea (8-2.6-20.5) rich in potassium

Heads up on using lemon to drop the pH of the water. Like @Waira said its the pH of the soil that matters. The reason that i note the lemon drops as a way to drop pH, its not stable. I have used this as well as white distilled vinegar and both do drop the pH in the water, but they will rise shortly after.

That classic N, def, or at leas that is what i would call it given the clean fade on the fans. no hammered lines or margins, tips are true and not burned. Now, dont panic here, if you must feel the need to feed it, take it easy, step her up and watch the progression, if it keep going up add a little more, you can always add, can never take back with ferts..

Thanks, man. Overall she is doing fine and today the leaves deficiency didn´t progressed. This strain is said to be a Dutch Blueberry with a Brazilian Manga Rosa.

And the problem is spreading. Yesterday applied a light solution of Epson salts and dolomite for a CalMag boost. Don´t know what else to do.

:toke: -- so the pH probe, one of those skinny rod types? Unreliable sorry to say, I've tried a couple brands; only one of that type is a larger stouter unit called the Accurate 8 soil pH probe (Control Wizard),... at this point, I don't think either Mg or S are in play here, so cut the epsoms now,.. dolomite is the slowest acting form of lime, and won't be of much help with the time left,...takes too long to breakdown and become available, you need right-now sources,...Plus, with the possible pH being too high, not too low, this doesn't help matters,.... of more concern is the PK... Have you increased the PK dosing as well? These new symptoms are showing P defc on the lowers (larger necrotic patches), and the petioles are all purple, a further clue,... I wonder that the additions you put in are slow to become available, typical of organic sources,... P and K don't lock out unless the pH is rather acidic,...
