Indoor Mainemedical's 13 Strain Summer Sampler

Most tents you don't have to worry about. The AgroMax tents that wouldve been purchased between like November 2011 and April of 2012 without windows are ones that are most susceptible. And yes, it's when a higher powered light raises temps in the tent and the silver lining (more likely the plastic that coats the silver) throws off gas and chokes out the plants. The AgroMax ones were the biggest culprits in the last 5 years, and seemingly just one batch of 'em. There's been a number of people, myself included, who have had this issue. I thought it was an iron deficiency at first, but then found out it was the tent offgassing.

I actually have 2 agromax tents but I got one in October and one in November and they both are models with windows. So should I not worry or do you think its definitely off gassing?

Hmm... I would call them to ask if they'd heard reports of those particular models off gassing because you're experiencing the same issues that others have, and you know they exchanged the models that others had complained about and you purchased them within the last 6 months and want to know what to do because your plants are dying.

Are you running CO2 or anything?

Nope not running co2. Is there any definitive way to tell that its off gassing? Should I call the store or 1800 number?

There's not much of a definitive way other than HTG knowing there were reports of your particular model having issues. The leaves look exactly as mine did, near white all around the edges with just the center vein being green. It looks like an iron deficiency but it's really just a gas choking out the plant. I think it'd be worth a call to the store, not the 800 number.

I mean, your smaller plants look good. Were those also grown in the same tent as the one that has those yellowing leaves?

Yeah I started all of my plants in my mother tent. My plants usually look good for the first month or so then start to get burnt underneath and then it spreads. I thought that I was having ph problem but I added lime to try and fix it and still the burning worsened

I am new to growing though so it also could be errors by me

Talked to HTG for awhile this morning and finally got them to send me 2 new tents. They said I'll have them in 3-4 days so hopefully the girls can make it til then without too many ill effects:trichs:

Nice work. Hopefully that'll help out with that yellowing situation. it worked wonders for me switching to a new tent.

maine med, did they own up? did they say the new tent's wont gas?
