Mephisto Genetics Marga's Steel City

Margahooja, I just harvested a Steel City and it was brilliant. The only problem I've had with Mephisto's plants is that they're so dense I had a little bud rot. Nice job on yours.

Thanks. Yes that was a concern for us also, especially on the Sour Crack. We started watching the Steel City and my wife took a couple cuttings around the cola for better air circulation, and an extra small fan was hung.

Dry Weight

The Steel City finished at 35 grams. There was 3 grams that were not included with this photo. So, just about an ounce and a quarter. Smoke report will be coming soon. Thanks to all who followed this thread.

Looks like a lovely healthy plant - i'm eager to hear what it smokes like, I know the photoperiod version of this strain quite well since I live in a neighbouring region from where it hails from. It's a firm favourite amongst my pals and has been for many years!!

An upcoming cross we would like to make is to cross the auto blues or chem city blues back to 'the livers' cut :)
and then work it back into an auto over 4 generations, we should really have some great blues/livers traits strong in the strain then.

Ah yes! Is 'the livers' one of the strains that parented 'blues' or is it a sibling? Or have I got it completely wrong?! Always been confused by this.

I'm confused about it too, there's about 5 similar but slightly different versions going about. In our experience and circles the livers has always been favoured.
ill try and put a word in to the powers that be and figure it out.
Cheers mitch :)

I've smoked at least 3 diff types! Very similar but slightly different. They are always really dense compact flowers though in my experience.
