On another forum, Sara the Mars rep had 50 units of the 200x3 series for 450.00 USD,each, free shipping. None of the other models were available. Original poster had the price in post 1 with a question mark.

Yup they're just working with the 200x3 atm to test it out, they're probably all snatched up by now

She was still offering them this morning, except that with them being on a chinese holiday, shipping would not be for 20 more days

They've been offering for a couple weeks now, either they're selling way more than the 50 units she says, or no one is rushing to buy them up as they're still available.

Aye, can't help but think the same thing, thanks for the more info, marg.
Probably a good amount of people waiting to see results before pulling the trigger.
I like how the light has developed since November, though, with the feedback MarsHydro has gotten

Love mars hydro as for the value and price I dont think there is better, but for 450 I would rather have someone else test them and review them before I even think about buying them, considering they have other similiar watt lights for cheaper, I would love for a tester to see what makes them better than the others. Let's say there old mars 100x3 produced 1 gpw and there new sun series 100x3 produced 1.5 gpw, I would just stick to the old mars as the .5 gpw doesn't make me want to dish out the extra money. That's just me. Like everything that comes out new, i wait for others to try and then buy, I.e so many first generation products having bugs and such

I was waiting to see more about the Sun Series, but I decided to go with a 192x3 reflector. Maybe down the road I'll revisit it. It does look good.
