Technical Issue Meph seeds wont pop

So in 0/7 on meph seeds even using their method to a T. I want to grow meph so bad. My ilgm seeds pop so fast and easy. Any tips??

I've done exactly their method. Other seeds popping fine. Thanks guys and girls.

hmm how to germ seeds....its kinda like telling someone how to suck eggs they split in a glass of water/get a tail in damp tissue ? plant straight to pot ?
ya gave them a week before ya went digging them up ?

I tried the soak 24 hours. Move to moist paper towel in a dvd case like mephisto recommends. Kept about 78 degrees and moist not wet. Havnt tried direct to soil. Maybe I should.

I've havnt had issues with any other seeds but I'm a beginner. I do my research though. Just not sure what else I could be doing wrong. Ty btw and criticize away. I'm here to learn. Heres my ilgm GG4. Have a few going no probs but meph looks so damn good.

I've gotten very small taps but when I plant they just die. Using happy frog. Ph water with low ppm.

Happy frog alone can be too hot (nutrient heavy) for seeds/seedlings so most people put seedling soil in top layer! Their soil is known to cause some issues! I’ve only grown 2 of theirs and going now but I used the $4 jiffy pucks n the cheap greenhouse it comes with on my modem and 14/15 with only 1 fail cuz I got it too wet and grew the taproot out the top and head got compacted in too tight! If Home Depot is nearby jiffy stuff is easy since just started 9/13/19 myself! Good luck

nothing wrong with your gg4 as you say you germed em same as others,and the others took ok
some batches of soil like happy frog are known to be a bit up and down

Here’s the ones I got going and did all 4 in jiffy and were able to be transplanted about 48hrs after going in


$4 well spent and only $3.50 for refill pucks in like a 36 pack but do the small 12pk in the greenhouse to start cuz it fits on modem no prob! :smoking:

Oh ya I will say the net at the top u may wanna cut lil extra back after u get it wet but before seeds in! I cut it back n make a slit so that once standing if no root growing thru it yet I’ll cut it off! Time I started my 2 plants in solo cups had em growing out the bottom by end of week 2 when a plant I chopped on Christmas and was 105 days old barely had bigger roots than the lil mephisto had! Was kinda craziness truthf!!
