Hey Guys I haven’t had the chance to grow Mephisto genetics yet, the question worth the cost or equivalent quality available for less?
some good beans available nowadays for little money, example SweetSeed/Seedstockers.

Mephisto quality is very good. I've had trouble popping seeds in the past, but now I presoak in water with coconut milk and green aminos added. Since then I've had 100% germination. I've grown other autos that I thought were inferior, but I was inexperienced and they are probably better for me now. Mephisto is extremely popular here, but so are autos from many breeders. Since I started growing Mephisto genetics I haven't grown other autos for no particular reason.

A non-Mephisto auto that I really liked was Mexican Airlines. My first grow of this strain was awesome - I got two ounces when at that time I was struggling to get more than an ounce from photos. I planted two more Mexican Airlines that did poorly but that might be because they were outside and it was an uncommonly cold and wet summer this year.

Also, there are a few auto strains that you can get here, but can't buy from seed banks. One of my goals is to beg, borrow or steal these genetics for my own grows.

Twenty20 Genetics is a good source for great photo genetics and they now are offering several autos. My son gave me a clone from a couple of their photos. One of them is called Island Mimosa and is truly fire. I'm hopeful their autos will be fire as well.

Yeah it's sativa-leaning, maybe even pure sativa. I like growing indica but think I prefer smoking sativa.

I've never heard of it and have only been growing a little over a year. But that said, Rhino Ryder looks pretty good to me. Mephisto has a number of indica-dominant strains and at least one pure Indica: https://www.mephistogenetics.com/strains/24-carat

When I started out 14 months ago, I just started buying any seeds that I thought I'd like. I bought from several different seed banks and I think my luck was all good because I was satisfied with most of what I grew and nobody ripped me off that I'm aware of. The things I didn't really like will just remain in my seed collection until I give them away or something.

I was really tempted to hang out for these, But ultimately I just caved in and purchased WOS Afghan Kush Ryder 100% Indica. A Pack of 3 delivered including 2 freebies was £21.84
So I definitely cannot complain at that, I will grow this alongside the Rhino Ryder, I’m always chasing the 90white Rhino.. Best I ever consumed…

Yeah I REALLY want to try sour crack but I've had less than stellar success with the pure Afghan land strains I've tried. Please update us with a smoke report.
