Hey, fair enough. How often do you water though? Just curious. I guess everyone gets to grow to their own style and schedule.
Back when I started growing, there was no info readily available and it was all a big test trying to do follow some of the methods that some were using. Didn't take long to figure what worked, what didn't....my style and schedule was the simpliest...drop a seed in a gallon pot of miracle grow and check on weekends (grow was at a resort)...sure they'd dry out in 5 days but I grew lots of weed by doing so little.
Guess you can say I learned the most by doing nothing. Had to employ my best tool (patience) when I lived 70 miles from my grow!
Sure, over these years, I've refined everything. Also, 20 years of MS forces one to do it easy as possible....I once grew in a 20x16 room, 10-15 plants....now in a tent at home, harvesting 3 or 4 every two weeks.
I grow autos and photos together with 3-4 in veg and 3-4 in flower at all times...and have for 15 years. All are in 2-3 ltr pots of biobizz light mix.
Easy to feel weight but I always double check with a moisture meter. I do all feeding/watering in the early morning only (when lights come on). Only a full flowering plant sometimes needs daily watering. Being organic , I seldom water/feed to runoff.
Of course, I always wanted to grow in larger pots but with my success with small pots makes me quite proud of my simple ways.

Ya do what works for you and what space allows. You could grow everything in solo cups if you are dialed in. Thing is, seeds and set up aren’t cheap, so many folks want to get the most finished product . I currently have a 4AM going in a 3 gallon... wasted space for a small cultivar, and a Jammy Dodger in a one gallon that would have produced much more in more medium. Half the fun is changing it up!!
