Alright guys thought I would start a thread giving information on mephistos freebies just received my order and was kindly gifted 2 free seeds labeled SS x DG
I think its sour stomper x double grape?????? But cant find any info on the strain

Any info appreciated and post your freebies and any information to help everyone out

I think some were referring to this as Triple Grape. It’s a one off..not yet an Illuminauto. Sometimes new crosses are released as freebies, and the feedback helps Mephisto decide whether to make them available going forward. Both those cultivars are frosty !

just my 2 cents......which ever strain of mephisto you grow, be aware that most need a sizable medium to do their best. I usually grow in 2 ltr which gave me good weed but small yield especially with mephisto strains. I changed to a 1 gal airpot….increased yield and plant size 100% so even a small increase in medium helped considerably.

@automan2 Yeah I learned that with my current grow had 3 sour cracks one in a 10 litre air pot and 2 in 5 litre make shift pots the one in the bigger pot is almost twice the size of the other 2 thanks for. The warning won't be making that mistake again

I think I've seen it called Sour Grape more often. Also Night Owl has a strain called Triple Grape, which I believe is double grape x tyrone stomper which could definitely cause some confusion Either way I bet it will be really frosty!

1L pot? Wtf that's tiny. I know peeps do tiny grows but that's just for fun .

Edit: what I mean is that I grow at minimum in a 2gallo. ~ 8L pot. Anything else seems kinda small and needs allot of frequent watering.

Hey, fair enough. How often do you water though? Just curious. I guess everyone gets to grow to their own style and schedule.
