As you can see two of the seeds are not where they should be developmentally and I could attribute that to something faulty in the gear, but in my case I don't believe that to be the case. I honestly believe I was influenced by the very unfortunate experiences of a few growers. Statistically speaking a certain percentage of seeds are not going to germ and a certain percentage are going to be mutated, that is nature. The growers who had issues are also experienced growers mostly so I think that also influenced me, but stats don't play favorites so even experienced growers can get bad seeds (I know irony, but wait for it). The issue then becomes, volume, how could so many seeds in such a small group of people have such issues? There are many variables, word of text comes to mind, I want to grow dbc because I saw how great Spanglish did with his, so we tend to buy seeds at the relatively same time and we often sychronize our grows to increase our knowledge base and cause its funner to grow together. See how time and space cause synergy?
So what is this whole ball of wax getting to? My seeds were fine, I allowed my apprehension and extreme inexperience affect my actions, in other words I smothered them with good intentions. I tried to many changes, I added nutes to the water before the seeds germed, I sowed them directly into the rock wool and that didn't work well, still every seed germed and the one that has itty bitty primary leaves lost its coltedyns and tip of the tap root. I don'expect it to live much longer, but sex has not been determined and I have a strict let it ride policy, I always want to leave room for surprises. Okay finally, I should be able to grow two if not three white triangles and I am positive the smoke is going to be excellent and my plants are going to be the best I've ever grown. Stay tuned.
We will know if I am correct (sort of) when I germinate my final seed. I will pop it in a paper towel tomorrow.
