Hello,

These autos have been out the soil about 2 weeks, and I'm trying to put my finger on whats gone wrong here,

i used the same light, soil as i have done with previous auto grow. Only thing different is that this is in a different location to the last auto run and the ph hasn't been checked.

Grow spec:

400w Dual Spec HPS
23-25c Temps
3 gal pots
Watering every 3 days when dry

here are couple of the fem mi5 after 2 weeks... they all look the same.

now here is my last auto's started under a HPS bulb which grew out well and successful.. which tells me its not the HPS causing the current issue,

here we have a photo of a friends autos started under the same soil, but with an MH bulb. and AFTER mine were planted :crying:

to me all my seeds look like duds. can anyone help!?

Looks like they could use some nitrogen. What is your soil mix and if you've fed them anything, what and how much? Temps are a little cool. You want to be around 80 f.

Thanks for the reply,

i know they do not crave N at this stage, they have looked like this since day 3/4 of sprouting and haven't changed alot since.

my soil has very light NPK values which enable me to lay off nutes for a good 2-3 weeks which is why they have had nothing at this stage, they clearly arn't taking off.

it's just perlite and mulit-purpose with added john innes, which is also being used by a friend in my last photo.

temps are normally sturdy around 25c close to 80f

i have hps but my young ones do way better till sexing if under cfls----im not as big a grower as most here but it works well for me---3 23 watt cfls handle 10 seedlings for me for 2 weeks---no special soil-- 1/4 th tspoon of 5-1-1 from day 3

Based on the yellowing, I still think it's a lack of N. Mix up some household ammonia, 1 part ammonia to 10 parts water, and spray them once a day for about 3 days. I think you'll see a difference.

Mi5 is a great strain, one of the best around. Grows big and yields well. Great balanced stone/high. I've probably grown 30-40 of them at this point and usually average close to 3 oz. a plant.

yea looks like i'm not going near mi5 !! :toke:

the plants in the bottom pics are mine (Afghan kush ryder), same soil, no nutes used at this point. they were started after my buddys mi5 which only tells me one thing, the seeds are duds.

Different strains have different requirements. Mi5 seems to like a little more N in veg based on my experience growing them. It also likes a little more P during flowering.

Not going to doubt that mate, but have any of your mi5's looked like this after 2 weeks?
