Sorry I've neglected this thread. I'm seriously pleased that so many people have found this grow journal to be helpful!
I'm embarrased to be called a master! :jaw: I've only been growing for a bit over a year now. This is what I've learned:
1. Use nutrient rich soil. I've recently been using Roots Organic Original soil.
2. Don't worry about applying nutes too often, I've yet to come across a strain that didn't respond well to nutes. I use the General Hydroponics line of nutes.
3. Plants can grow fine using a 24/0 light cycle as long as they're receiving a lot of water and nutes.
4. Point #3 is possible using a 90 watt led. A higher wattage led might fry the plants if the light cycle is 24/0, but I simply don't know as I've only used a 90 watt led UFO light.
5. Because my grow space is small I therefore am limited to smaller plants. I've lined my grow box with mylar sheeting which helps to reflect the light throughout the entire grow box.
6. Don't neglect the importance of a good cure and storage of buds. I use boveda paks and cvaults to cure and store my buds, although Ball mason jars seem to keep the inside of the jars airtight. Cvaults or mason jars? I reckon it's a matter of preference (and budget) which to use.
7. There isn't a more helpful and friendly website for our "hobby" than this site.
These points are my experience only. Use them as a guideline. I've learned from other grow journals that there are as many ways to grow weed as there are strains!
I'm sincerely flattered to be called a master (of anything!). I'm also flattered and glad that others have found my grow journals to be useful! :Cool bud:
