New Grower Microwave's 2nd LED Grow - Purple Kush

Thanks Tang. I've attached photos from today, day 30 after germination. I was wrong about her not growing anymore, she's still soaring skywards while producing pretty purple buds. I haven't been feeding her many nutes, she just seems to know what to do! I hope that this journal is helpful to people who want to grow this strain. :tiphat:

Day 33 from seed ~ She seems to have stopped growing and is putting all of her energy into bud production. The leaves surrounding the base of the purple buds have started to turn purple also. :dance2:

Its a dwarf plant. Wont get tall like other autos. I also found they drink a shit load of water. Or mine did. Could of been cause it was so freaken hot.
Did you feed them yet bud?

I wanted a dwarf plant as my grow room can't handle a monster. I've been feeding her lightly since day 15 (I think), but she doesn't need much. I've been using FloraDuo's feeding schedule, but smaller amounts of nutes than they recommend. Yea, drinks a ton!

How long did yours go from seed to harvest? Thanks m8 :tiphat:

I saw your purple kush thread, looks great. I might go with Lowrider #2 next 'cause I want dwarfs. Wifey and I don't toke much, so an oz. or so is a good harvest for us.

I use Damascus earth for pest control now it works great. I bought a 15 LB bag for like $20 and have used it successfully for few grows now, the last time and now by it self as I use to use it with neem oil. I sprinkle about a tablespoon full on top of the soil about 1 week in to the grow the day after a water and it works great. It dose nothing for larger bugs but for gnats its great and effects nothing in your soil, you can not use too much or throw off your PH with it so its fool proof, I used some 3 months ago on 2 photo plants and still no bugs.

Thanks Impala for letting me know about Damascus earth for my gnat problem! I've squished most of them in the soil with my finger when I saw them walking around the pot, so few of them are left now. But I'm sure that more will arrive with later grows, I reckon they like my girls... :

thanks, so far so good! She's a fast grower and low maintenance plant. The smoke reports are what we wanted, so my wife and I are on day 34 now. Lots of bud sites and buds been forming for over a week with pretty purple leaves surrounding the buds. very cool! :smokebuds:

Day 36 from seed ~ What I notice are that the budspots are getting bigger and more leaves around the budspots are turning purple and frosty. Even many of the leaf veins are turning purple. Many of the leaves are turning hard instead of soft as they were during veg. stage. :stylez rasta smoke:
