I've decided to start a diary on my indoor grow. It's been 7 years since I last grew, so I welcome all feedback!
Setup: 2 Sweet Skunk AF
Containers: A 3 gallon container for each plant
1 90 Watt UFO light
Soil: Promix Ultimate
I'm lighting 20/4.
Grow is in a closet with mylar all around.
I went to a local hydro store and they set me up with these nutes:
1. FloroDuo A
2. FloroDuo B
3. Liquid KoolBloom
4. Floralicious Plus
They also gave me a flyer from FloraDuo on the feeding schedule.
The plants germinated within 48 hours of being in a soaking wet paper towel, which was covered by paper plates both below the towel and above the paper towel.
They both came up great and were doing fine until I put nutes on the plants on day 5. The hydro store said they'd be strong enough, but they didn't tell me to dilute FloraDuo A & FloraDuo B with water! So I put 5 ml of FloraDuo A directly onto the stem of each plant and 2.5 ml of FloraDuo B directly onto the stem of each plant. I suppose it's obvious to most growers, but this newbie didn't know that I was to mix these newts with 1 gallon of water and then pour the water into the potting soil. The result is that 1 plant lived and the other died. I've just germinated a new seed which should pop above the ground anytime now.
The first pic. is of the still living plant on day 5 and the second pic. is of this plant today, day 9. The brownish coloring on the bottom leaves are the result of the newt shock on day 5.
