4 Female SD's on the left. Henry the male SD in the middle and Pot Luck Blood stones to the right.

Just plain tap water pH'd to 6.2.

All seeds have sank (including 1.5 00 Seeds Auto Bubble Gum's (will explain the half seed later!)) So have gone into the RR's.



Now hiding away in a heated propagator, along with some FOD.



Tent is now more or less ready, Doris will be left to her own devices as lights go to 24/0 (CFL only) The Dragons have been joined by the remnants of a 00 Seeds Auto Bubble Gum breeders pack. Found these by chance during a 'once in a while clean up' and as they are at least 2 yrs old thought "why not!" One seed has lost its outer coat and a slice off one of the imature cotyledon's................hence 1.5

A quick update:

A second BS has made an entrance! There maybe another before bedtime?



I'm betting this BS on the left is a male, actually colouring up the seed leaves as it shed the seed case. (I know what I'm on about!)

Morning update!



Well then, 100% germination of the Dragons and of the whole Bubblegum bean (I'm not sure if the half seed will make it?).

They are all still on pH'd water 6.2 only, temps in the tent range between 21-24c and RH is approx 45-50% (enhanced a bit with my home made bottle cloches, see other post.), all under a 110w 6400k CFL.

All the SD's and BS's have now gone into their respective airpots; 3 each into a 15l





and 2 SD's into 1 (yes!) 1l airpots





The thinking behind this idea is; hopefully the plants will show sex before being tiered into a larger airpot if required for further use. Also, depending on the vigour and sex of the plant, the size of airpot can be changed accordingly, smaller for males/larger for females. At the moment I'm planning on tiering into 3l's for males, 6 or 10l for females. I thought it would be an interesting sideline to the grow, just wish I had more tent space or indeed, two more tents!
