Lighting MikeyB420's Land of Nod (ding dragons) under HS1's

Ok, (also, a Happy New Year to all who read this.) I've been thinking about how to squeeze 5 fems into my 3' x 3' tent under the three HS1's and although it's somewhat of a compromise, I think I have cunning plan!

Having measured up the floor space, I'm now going to tier the Stone Dragon into a 15l airpot and the 2 BubbleD's into 10l airpots. It will mean I may have to move all the plants on a 2-3 day basis in addition to their normal rotation (I've always turned the pots through 90 degrees every day.) to achieve maximum light exposure. Well short of buying another tent, it's the best idea I can come up with at the moment.

Will update with photo's later on, unless I get sidetracked?

Well I didn't get sidetracked (apart from multiple tea breaks and a J!). Spent a good few hours sorting out bits and bobs, mainly the damn lights orientational wise but, I hope I've got it right for the rest of the grow?

The 2 BD's are tiered into the 10l airpots and the SD into a 15l, using Bio-Bizz light mix again. They are on just plain un PH'd water at the moment, when they have settled in I shall resume feeding at the following rates:

.5ml Cal-Mag
2ml Root Juice
2ml Bio Heaven
5ml Fish Mix per litre of water

From front to back, Black Stones, in the center the Stone Dragon and at the back, Bubble Dragons.

Day 27 Update.

Tent Day 27.jpg

No real sign's of any ongoing stretch yet, these are very chunky dragons/stones? Not that I'm after huge yields, just good meds!!

A couple of growtographs (thanks @TaNg ) of the Black Stones.

Day 29 Update

Tent Day 29.jpg

Looks like I've got some 'slow burners' here! :greencheck:

Both of my own crosses are 35cm (just over 12" tall!) but, the main stems are really well developed?

I'm really looking forward as to how the Black Stones will progress. They are just under the 1' foot tall (30cm)

As for the Stone Dragon, apart from the feed spillage on the lower fan leaves, slight nuteburn showing at the tips of the upper/newer fan leaves (I've backed off on her feeding regime!), she is the baby of the bunch at 28cm. No worries!!

Got to love these HS1's! I may even buy another and that may be regarded as overkill in my small tent but, the overall aim is the same! After this run, I'm planning on growing some commonly available genetics.................. @mephisto/@DP/@Dinafem! I have beans (old) from all and they shouldn't go to waste?

Hi, to those who look? :)

Day 31 Update

I've started using the de-humidifier the last few days as the RH was/is unacceptable! I was seeing 70-75% after watering/feeding and even before lights out 55-60%. Got it down a lot (20%) but, I may have to do better through the rest of flowering?

I've flipped the lights for a few days to 18/6 as the girls seem to be 'stretching' (on 20/4) at approx an inch " a day (I'm almost happy with that!), although I know I can get that up if I don't push them too hard? not sure how long I've got left

Apart from the Stone Dragon, the new feeding regime is:

1ml Cal-Mag
1ml Alg-A-Mic
2ml Bio Heaven
7.5 ml Fish-Mix per litre of H2O.............. and

:crying:................................there goes Organic?

.25ml Liquid Silicon (Growth Technology)...................it worked last time!

The Stone Dragon is on the old feed regime (-20%, i.e watered down) until the tips recover and then she will, just grow! No growtograph's of the Bubble Dragons, they are fine!

Hi All,

A Quick Day 32 update

Tent Day 32.jpg

Look's like I'm on the right track, although some adjustment of lights may be needed? Another 2"/50cm stretch over the day and also outward growth too! If they keep growing at this rate, I will run out of room soon, I'm considering major fan leaf removal over the next few weeks (call it high stress training!), although I could totally fuck it up! I'm just/still in awe how these lights (HS1's) promote growth!

I'm looking mikey and the plants are looking fine. Good to see someone using fishmix. I used it to water plants in when I potted up as it gets the little critters (microherd!) all excited :)

Never mind the silicon, what about the calmag? Plant magic do an organic 'biosilicon' which is a good product
