Need to pickup a ph meter and was wondering if anyone had experience with the Milwaukee pH52.

I have $100 max that i can spend and this is pretty much my only option as i can't order online right now + if i did everything would be way more with shipping etc.

Is it reliable enough? Or should i keep looking?

Wish i could afford a hannah but thats not happening

I had a milwaukee... expensive pro version... 6 moths it shit the bed... skip milwaukeee for ph meters... dog shite IMHO

It's what i have now... and has been good for almost 2 years... but you'll notice you can replace4 the probe without throwing the whole meter out for about 50 bucks... the probe is what always goes on these eventually... well worth the investment... notice it does ph / ec and TDS and is temperature compensated as well... a primo piece of equipment IMO.. :toke:

I'm in canada so everything is alot more expensive :(

Can't find anywhere else in my freaking city that sells ph meters except the hydro shop and they want close to $200 for a Hanna

If it lasts me a couple grows i would be happy...lol

the hannah if you take care of it will last forever....basially a good rinse and always keep the sensor moist / wet...

you cant order from amazon? shipping cant be $75!

No credit card right now so can't order online and i don't know anyone else that has 1

Took me a good couple months just to save this much and i'm needing something fast :(

********? prepaid credit cards? Have any friends w/ CC? You can also check out pool shops and brew shops for meters. If you really need one get a cheap set of dip strips and wait till you can get something good.

Had a pre-pay but it got cancelled due to someone getting my card number and trying to go on a spending spree with it :crying:

Think i might just pick up the cheaper yellow milwaukee pH 600 for now and try to save for a better 1

As long as i can get thru a couple grows with it i should have enough saved by then to get a decent one :o

The PH 600 works fine, but I have to use it twice often, to make sure I'm getting an accurate reading. I also have to calibrate it once a month (which is not a big deal). At times the results are screwy, so you have to re-pour a sample or wait a bit for it to be accurate, but for the price, it does the job.
