DIY Mini solo cup tray

I have been playing around with solo cup style growing, mainly inspired by @St. Tom's solo cup monsters.
Being a cheapskate I didn't want to fork out on new solo cups though lol

I love using what I have around the workshop and found a tray, some 550ml paint mixing cups and other bits n bobs.

So I re purposed the tray and cups and the mini solo cup sog was born.

It is going well, however has areas of development. The pots want to fall over to easily, and it's not easy to get to everything..

So this morning I came up with a 5 cup version that holds the cups in place whilst providing adequate drainage.

It is made from a rectangle foam cut from a foam pad used for putting under your sleeping bag
4 x number plate bolts
Cooking tray
Silver tape
Couple of metal strips I had lurking

I drilled holes in the base of the tray
For drainage and there is slate inside so the pots don't sit in the run off.

I measured up and cut the wholes in the foam top and silver taped it

I'm yet to test in anger as I'm waiting for the paint to dry on the tray but happy to report back if anyone is interested

nice job growbro but its gonna get chocker in there at some stage and at least you have plenty to mess about with also asda sell the bigger red cups in there party type of isle anyhow i will follow along and well done with your thread
