Indoor MiniDro SnowRyder Party Cup Contest Entry

Well its been awhile since I actually made a grow log and I am about a month behind but I am digging the challenge of something new and liking the results so far. This is my first attempt at anything hydroponically grown and I really have no clue what I am doing other that trying to follow others from different types of grows and apply the methods here.

So in the beginnning I saw a member who posted some pics of a soda can grow he had done in the past and I thought his results were much better than my last party cup grow I did in soil as they only got around 8 inches and were small. There really wasnt much info so I sorta did my own things.

Ok now to go over media and nutrients. I planted 2 SnowRyder seeds in rockwool ontop of perlite that filled the can. I am using Advanced Nutrients SeniGrow 2 part and will be using SeniBloom 2 part when fully in flower.

The seeds where planted on Dec 1 as I wasnt sure I was going to enter this time but I figured oh well and lets try it. i had to plant 2 seeds as I had no fem beans at the time so I was just hoping to get a female.

View attachment 54295 By day 12 both plants where growing still and not even close to sex so I was starting to get worried they were runts and I had drown them or something so I added the valve to slow the flow down to barely a trickle.

View attachment 54299 Day 16 still small but looking better. Both plants still going yet no sex. Hmmm I was thinking this is taking to long and I cant keep both plants
in there.

View attachment 54300 Day 20. Still no sex but I had to do something soI ripped out the smaller one. I am sure that didnt do the other plant and good and I was worried I would have a bunch of dead roots but you gotta do what you have to do. I was now all in on this being a female or I was gonna be out of the contest.

This is about the time the plant took off growing. I am guessing it didnt like the other one being in there or it was simply to crowded.

View attachment 54301 Day 24 plant looking ok with some big leaves but kinda droopy. Sex has shown and its a female. Lucked out there. I added a timer to the waterflow at this point with 30 min on and 60 min off. It was around 8 inches on this day.

Lets now fast forward to official day 30 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

She is now over 14 inches tall and over 22 inches wide. I had to pull my other plants from the box just for a party cup plant?????

She is starting to have some nute issues I am working on but this has been a suprisingly large bushy SnowRyder for sure. I hope I can finish her off well as she has tons of bud sites all over and should have a pretty decent yeild hopefully.

Thanks everyone. I got with Jackal about the advanced nutrients stuff he had been using on his grows and have been using his advice. I really give all the credit to both of them. I have tried other nutes and nothing compares so far. I think the results can speak for themselves. This hobby sure has come a long ways since the days of just fish emulsion lol.

Thanx everyone. Like I said I would give the credit to AN nutes and all my friends who have helped me on the way. lol Sometimes the stars and planets align for a nice one.

I can currently running my timer at 30 min on and 90min off.

I am am trying 4 ml SensiBloom 2 part per gallon as I was using 3ML . I just started adding 2ml of cal/mag as well as I am seeing some defiencies in the plant. I am still checking my ph at 5.6 after its all mixed up.
The plant is up to 16" now and not showing signs of slowing. weird pheno for sure. I was thinking of knocking her up but figured nah let her be. She is gonna have enough issues staying healthy in the can.

The can is pretty root packed at this time. I gotta kinda squeeze it a bit to keep the water flowing down. I think on my next water change I will be adding only AN Sensizym which is a root booster and helps deal with dead roots as we ll and just water to get her ready to switch to flowering nutes which will be pretty quick. I had to turn one fan off as it was pissing her off and a few leaves got kinda ugly on the end from the fan.
