Mixed Megacrop storage?

I use five gallon water dispenser bottles and I mix up my nutes in each one till I hit 1.2EC and then I bubble for a day before checking pH. Adjust the pH and let bubble another 24 hours and adjust one more time if necessary and then add the Botanicare and bubble till ready to use. These are stored in a basement which is mostly dark and cool. I sometimes have 6 of these five gallon bottles ready for use at any one time.

30 gallons on standby, very nice. :d5:
When these babies start taking off in DWC they can drink a bucket dry pretty fast. I hate mixing nutrients daily and really think the pH stability I have seen is affected by the long aeration time.

For some of our outdoor test grows, we usually have concentrate left over when summer ends, and store it over the winter and use it the next grow season. So I have a jug outside with nutrients from 6 months ago concentrate mixed at about 100x (goes through our injector).

Edit: sometimes there is some fungus or mold growth, because of the organics act as a food source and there is natural decomposition, but it never caused any problems with our plants.

That’s nice to know.

What I have been doing is making a concentrated batch where 10 ml = 1 gram. I keep it in the fridge, then use a syringe to add however much I want to my gallon jug, give it a good shake, check the pH and it's ready to feed.
great idea!
