Yo! I'm growing for the first time and I'm trying it ALL out. Indoor (LED and CFL), Outdoor (in 3gal pots), and a possibly a mix of both. Due to recent bad weather, I've been bringing my outdoor gals in at night to give them a chance to dry out. I've been thinking about giving them a few extra hours of light under the CFLs OR even keeping them on all night. On really hot or cold days I'd like to bring them in and use the CFLs as a substitute. Has anyone else done this? Please advise! Thanks!

Its a fantastic ide, as long as bugs aren't a problem. If the plants are primarily an outdoor grow. bringing them in on crappy days is a good idea. Myself and very others use this strategy.(I use a 24/0 schedule for the first 40 or so days and then I will be planting the autos directly in the ground, so all day under the sun and all night under leds)
I know @derek420colorado is planning a strategy somewhat similar to this.

Heeeeyy! Hows it going? I do mix. Day light on my autos and artificial light at night.
