Many of you here at AFN know about and have grown MOB including @Waira, @Waximus, and @stepside. I'm sure there are more of you out there, but not sure who you are or I would have tagged you as well.

For those of you that are not aware of this very fine strain. Here is the lowdown from the breeder/seed producer of HighRise seeds.

Mob is a heirloom clone only from Maine. Unknown origin, unknown genetics. It's early outside, but not auto. At this point in inbreeding it seems not to have the lowryder gene. It's mostly indica, it's blueberry for sure, it's genetic make up surely contains something purple. It has a nice well rounded long lasting high.

Cres/Krk of HIghrise is getting out of the breeding/seed producing game, and gifted me some of his MOB S2s and several of his other strains, and told me to carry on with producing MOB.

I am just finishing up my first run of 15 plants looking for some keeper genotypes to begin producing more fems, and many crosses to come. Believe it or not, I did not come across any nice purple genotypes that I am happy with for indoor growing. I did however come across one for OD growers at Northern Lats, that looks like it should tick off the box for low mold, and will be crossing it with Viking photo and some red/purple PCK that I just received from a 70 year old grower from Northern Cali, who has been working this line for several years, isolating for color and potency. Will also be making some MOB x C99auto V.2 MOB x Fire OG/C99auto, MOB x Mighty Durban, and many more. Any of you that have grown this strain, can attest what an outstanding Indica Dom strain this is.

Here are a couple of pictures MOB P#11 Day 52 12/12. Poor quality pictures as always from me, and do not do this plant justice.

Chopped the top cola off tonight, and will let rest fill in. Not enough LED light, with too many plants crowding. Plant is in one gallon container in Pro mix.

This green pheno has those nice MOB berry terps coming through loud and clear.

Nice to see a flowered out MOB. Up to now, just been a name on these geneology charts from afp. Good luck with your upcoming crosses of her.

Yes, this strain does well OD in Cali, and is much better tasting than NQ. Can't beat NQ for insomnia though.

PCK is:
Pakistan Chitral Kush
Aka: PCK
Pure line from Chitral, Pakistan
Flowering Int: 8-9 weeks
Yield: Media / Average

Nice plant brother. Looks very similar to the first one I grew out Most others have been green phenos, and leaned more to the C99 side.

Thanks for rounding out the shout out list. Did not even know that JM was still around here.

Yes, I was and still completely blown away by lack of purple genotypes in the semi-large pool that I grew out. All those I have spoken too that have grown many plants out, prefer the green phenos for potency by far. I did indeed find one in this run, that should work great for those wet humid falls that many encounter Still need to find some nice full purples for indoor. Have lots of other true semi-auto IBL to cross with the MOB. Just received some DP Durban Poison auto m/f as well. Also just started some AOFs. I am really looking forward to MOB x AOF, but will also be doing an OP seed run with the AOFs. Should have plenty of those fine Paki land race seeds. Maybe getting some Purple Peyote here shortly. Thinking that would be a nice combining of genetics as well.

Here is the information on the Viking:
Viking
Viking is an old Dutch strain probably made from an Afghan landrace. She shows purple hues in flower and brings on a sweet hashy taste with earthy undertones. She's very easy to grow out- and indoor aswell. This strain is very muscle relaxing, and is very good for insomnia too. Couchlock effect. The reproduction of this strain was made by Bald Man Lala for the Derg Corra Collective.

Indica/sativa 90/10% (probably).

On a side note, twas just out collecting Viking pollen before I started writing replies. Only ended up with one female in the GH, but have 2 nice males. This is now an IBL line so should be good on keeping the line from bottle necking on my part with just the one female and two males. Going to be hitting some other gear with Viking pollen as well.

Peace
