Cov' that sucks wang! A hard lesson learned mate,.. often the core of the buds can be pretty moist, but outsides are seemingly OK,..and the hygrometer may even say so as well if not allowed to sit long enough to equalize..... but the jar traps RH, and while this also helps even out moisture under supervised conditions, letting it sit in jars, too wet still, invites mold big time,... best to use a paper bag for that in between stage sometimes, from rack to jars,.. I do this for a couple days before jarring/curing, it help traps some RH, reduces dry speed, and allows buds to even up their inside/outside moisture,... heavily crusted bud not saveable even by extracting,..
