New Grower Monkeys Sweet Seeds +Speed Grow (From Day 25)

I was in the same two boats....

Didn't plan for the high scale of the size...had to cut a hole in the shelf the pot was resting on and lower the pot to the "garage level" AND had to FIM the top to arrest vertical growth.

As to nutes every feed....did that too, thought to myself "Hey, I'm running low concentrations so it should be okay" Led to nute build-up in the soil, salt build-up and pH issues.

15% Run-off and "every other feeding" method are important for reasons that have nothing to do with what the plant can handle...it's also a soil maintenance issue. Plus the cumulative
effect can take 3 or 4 feedings to become apparent and the solution sometimes sets you back a couple steps while you're correcting.

Thanks Trapper  will stick to my every other schedule

If I were you, I would put those lights above your side branches and to the side of the main cola. That's the great thing about multiple lights, you can position them differently. This will encourage vertical growth of the side branches and hopefully slow down the main stem. I'm afraid if you don't you will run out of room in that small of a box! Good luck man!

Thanks for the advice Zac, unfortunately the lights are fixed to the "roof" of my growbox. I'm considering moving the centre fitting & relocating it to allow more room for the cola to grow. I've got some T5 ballasts & lampholders & originally anticipated putting supplementary lighting vertically around the plant. This grow is just to get a "feel" working with CFL's.

Luckily the growbox is freestanding so if required I can raise it off the ground. My other issue at the moment is odour, she's beginning to stink. I'm currently rigging some PC fans with carbon filter material to provide some airflow & hopefully negate the smell.

I've also got 4 sample jars of Ona Gel I can use as well.

Cheers

Well no pics as yet no significant "fattening up". She's now grown 5 & half inches in 4 days as of 6 pm last night, growth is definitely much greater after watering. I've now got 4 more 20w (100w eq) CFL's to hang in the growbox to illuminate the lower bud sites.

Well stretch has finished & throwing pistils out all over the place. Estimate probably another 2 weeks away from harvest? Looks like her falling over has possibly added another 5 days till finishing. Currently feeding full strength Tomorite supplemented with Plant Magic Bloom Booster, cynical about PK booster previously but it seems to be having a significant effect.

Cheers

Bud you got alot more then 2 weeks left, my count says 6/20 to 7/6 is 18 days + 25 days you started at is43 days. 80 days is the average sativa doms can go 100 to 120 days... looks to me by the pic you have alot of time yet it has not even began to bulk up..looks good thoe I love a skinny saty girl...

Thanks GoAuto hence the question mark, I was being a tad optimistic I think. Sweet Seeds market this strain as

Flowering: Automatic flowering
~49 days (From seedling to harvest.)
Only female seeds.

The only real reference I have is a grow diary from UK420 where the guy pulled his after 56 days. There was significant flowering iin the last 20 days or so. I'm hoping that I will see a boost in flowering progress in the next few weeeks.

Cheers

Yep, way more than two weeks. I remember saying that..five weeks ago..And still have a couple more to go lol. But that's a good thing, you want your auto to live as long as possible and bulk up as much as possible during that time :-)
