Grow Mediums Mother Earth Groundswell

I've only ever used Fox Farm soils, but have been thinking on giving another soil a try. So I picked up a bag of Groundswell the other day, and I really like the feel of it. Has anybody ever tried this soil. And if so what were the results? I filled a 5 gallon air pot and watered it, the drainage is great and it Ph'd at 6.6 with just tap water.

In my current grow I tried the groundswell and cocopeat. The groundswell didn't do well at all and they're basically 2 little dead seedlings. The cocopeat is doing much better. The groundswell issues may also be my fault for having them over watered. They're on a pair of perlite wick beds and have been given RO water only so they're pretty ugly right now. I also have a friend who's grew a photoperiod in the terracraft, RO water only throughout the grow and she looked much better than mine.

I wanted the Terracraft, but they only had the GS at my local shop. I saw this thread actually, and It sold me on Mother Earth, your friends plant looks amazing, Mango Smile is on my list for future runs! Thanks for the input, it sucks to hear that you had a bad experience with Groundswell. I'm about to give it a try, and I'm gonna blog the entire grow. So wish me luck, I have 1 FastBuds Zkittlez in germ right now!
