waira i think you and i should help alan smoke that bud. let's just show up , and suprise alan!
he wont mind!:no:Hop digity
<--- You slay me, bro'!! :roflcry: *shudder* ..alcohol,.. feel the burn!! :yoinks: LOL!! I whole heartedly agree my friend,... in fact, if we camp out in his living room long enough, we can help tune-up the other ladies as well!!, and spare poor Alan the onerous duty!! :brow: :hump: *** ...hope your weather turns soon Astro... I want to see what you (two) do with the PPV's! Perv' ya later at your porn-house!! :gthumb:
Doobie} LOL!! fat, phat is where it's at! ditto for the comedy...!

Alan, glad you got some RH again! Too dry too fast makes for harsh stuff.... Do you ever use the paper bag method? My guess is that it's great for low RH situations, as it provides an air buffer between the buds and the ambient air,... I've been trying it for the last few days of drying, so as to allow a slow steady evening out of remaining moisture over all the bud... seems to work well,... I'm close enough to the ocean that my RH seldom goes below 50%, usually higher depending where the fog is,....I picked up some Boveda 62% packs a while ago, but I find that they keep things more moist than I like, despite what the recommended storing RH is, instead I got some small silica gel packs.... btween these and occasional burping, the buds are holding where I find they preserve best for me, more in the upper 50's% RH **** That SC looks wonderful, Alan! LOL!-it's killin' me! this strain is beloved by every person I see that's grown it!... You are going to be so flush soon, it's just silly!! Watch out for that kief, mate! (nice trick, that).. My first tokes on the dry-ice product put me on my ass!... ahhh, but it tastes so good.... I agree, Sweet offers fine choices for beginners  Thanks for sharing, my friend!! When can we see new pics of the other beauty Queens??

UHF} It's our duty to make a little noise in the Quiet Riot's house here, since he indulges us so! :smoke:

Howdy all. Thanks for dropping by.

I decided to H the early flowering AKR and the Pandora. Both could have gone a few more days, but I discovered they were listing and branch or two looked saggy.

I only trimmed about eight branches of the Pandora. The mid to low branches will be used for water hash and then oil or vap. This strain has not been too cooperative. I have seen many excellent grows. Each of my seeds had its own idiosyncrasies. The last two did not produce any visible trichs on the bud leaves.

I will stay with three plants under this LED. With coco it takes some LST and a little finesse because of big growth.

While trimming AKR sticky aroma = orange tang. And Pandora = fresh vegetation, but, before trim fruity and a hint of pine. Did Pandora last, so, aroma was not detectible.

1.2. AKR (Not as big as they normally get. One gl. pot worked to keep it down.)

3. Pandora

congrats on the harvest Alan.

Some post clip photos.

1. AKR - Curing bud.

2. Left = Pandora. Dried on branches for two days. Now, on dry rack for a day or two. Right = AKR. Middle = The Pandora buds and trimmings to freezer for hash.

3. Pandora bud = wet still.

4. The trichome heads collected by screen while trimming.

Now, I am getting eager to start the next grow.

The White Widow has a floral mix aroma now. I have one 1/2 qt. jar and plan to let it dry/cure for another three weeks or so. Should be a interesting and will have a friend try it first.

The KVS is not ripening dramatically. Ever so slowly do I see a few orange pistils. And I mean a few. All I have done is stop feeding and give distilled water when dry. See what Rosenthal said in a Q & A below.

This is what may have occurred. Ed...http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/2578.html

:smoke: Alan- those ladies have joined the trophy plant parade! :High 5: What a fantastic grow this has been!... 2 more beaut's in the books, my friend  :wiz: LOL! Looking back, I'm blown away that these two have smoked by the KVS to the finish line! ... Pandora is a genuinely lovely plant, ay?... bright green, with tons of burnt orange pistils.... AKR looks dense and frosty; I think you harv'ed at a good point, Alan, particularly the AKR which will be boot-to-the-head body heavy to begin with!....Ooooo, orange tang aromatics,... you're killin me here! That sounds unusual for this strain,... we'll see if she keeps it, hopefully,... you just can't tell sometimes! the WW has changed her perfume a few times now, right? :KISS:mercurial women! -LOL!!... (Mmm, time to help Dad with a couple things before bed; thanks for sharing the good stuff! I'm very interested in the info link you posted, so I'll be back tread it later!)....

It has been fun. I learned a great deal per coco and improved my gardening skills. And it was my first big tent, so, the perspective was panoramic. Makes a big difference.

Now, I am gearing up again. Told Hereb4, last week, I was not enthused about a new start. Biting at the bit now. Only three in big tent and one in the small tent with the BS240. Lots of seed choices.

I have always liked the strong lemon/pine--the one that hits you when opening the dispensary door, e.g. the OGs. and Lemon Skunk. The WW's aroma is new to me. Tonight, the floral with a spicy under tone. Eager to have someone try it as a first impression. I have been using the olive oil, seems to help me feel tired and sleep markedly better.

Waira--We have discussed caring for parents. I would like to write a funny short story about taking care (actually her valet) of mom full time and assisting dad intermittently. Rewarding like switching roles. Good memories for me and the comical aspects. However, my mom was a hand full--a character with lots of energy.
Tonight, I watched two of your shows. Madagascar on Animal and those cousins of Earl's preaching the viper on Snake Salvation. Snake and Bake.

Time to check out your grow.

Astro your plants look wholesome in Maine. Visited your thread yesterday.

Astro--Looking forward to the PPV. Here is a photo of the valley and a suitable rental, if you decided it is better to plant at the origin. Beautiful country with an interesting history.

I know you have researched the strain. Mandala mgt. is adamant about sowing directly to soil--that is no water soak or towels to germ. They also like soil and not having to feed beyond what might be deficient. Their seeds do look fresh from the vine.

The KVS is beginning to get more dried pistols. Will see how it goes for the next week to ten days. I can see the need for mag still in the younger growth. Started the distilled water about 4/5 days ago. It is going fast--daily watering. If I feed she just continues to grow. Lemon aroma with bud pinches.

I have a confirmed reservation with a deposit on the tent in 10 days. Some photos are at the door waiting to get into their pots--. I don't want to upset these VIPs--:tiphat:.
