Mutant Gummy Bears

Hello all,

I thought this was weird, so I am going to document this grow. I have a mutant autoflower Gummy Bears that has two heads from one seed.

I don't know what to do. I guess I am going to grow it out and see what happens.

But we'll call this Day 3 since the first one popped up on Saturday and the second one popped up yesterday evening.

5 gallon fabric pots
Sunshine Mix #4 from Menards
Fox Farm trio
100 watt Gixxer for now

I’ve had this a few times… I picked the best looking one at day 10 and snipped the other…

Double stems, 1st branching/nodes, directly from the seed. Seems like a bonus. The plant already topped or mainlined itself when it sprouted. Usually you'd have to wait whatever no. of days to get or start to induce (fim, top, LST) any branching.

I'd keep both stems. At worst the slower one would be just another good-sized branch.

Well, I did it. I culled the little one and now have a more "normal" plant.

We'll see how she turns out

Not much growth going on, I hope I didn't stunt it when I culled the other one.

Day 26

Not too impressed with this strain. I know I am treating her just like the others and she should be a lot taller by now. Branches are doing better than the main stem.

The only thing I can think of is I stunted her when I took the smaller of the two sprouts. Next time if this happens I will let the two grow out.

I don’t know man…she’s just starting to take off, she might surprise you and turn into a nice round bush (rather than a Christmas tree shape)…

Day 40

Moved her to the big tent with a much better light. She already liking it and I had to redo my ties today to try to keep it flat ... Well , except the main stalk which is now too thick to bend.

Overall, happier with her than I was a couple of weeks ago. She'll be small and bushy.

Oh ya, don't mind the puddle...I watered a day earlier than normal and didn't think of checking the weight of the bag to determine if it needed to be watered

Lesson learned: check the pot to see if it needs water (less weight = time to water)

Day 49

Man, I cannot believe I doubted this plant, she is getting big! I keep tying down the branches as they grow out, but have ran out of room to tie any more.

Still feed her every third day right now and I guess she is loving it. I have switched up my fertilizer to Fox Farms Cultivation Nation Flower, which is a 4-35-26 mix.
