Lighting My First Grow...Amused to Death

Well, this first grow is now officially complete! The girls got chopped last weekend. I cut and trimmed the buds then placed them in the bottom of paper bags which were then placed in cardboard boxes and placed in a tent with just a carbon scrubber. I was amazed that they took nearly 5-6 days to become dry enough to consider jarring. I thought they would dry to a crisp with my low RH of 40. They are now in 7 lovely jars, playing with humidity until they are at 62 then boveda packs and sealing!

Overall, I initially had a total wet weight of 770 grams. Dried, I am at 180.9 grams/ 6.4oz. WOOT, not too bad for a first grow huh?

Thanks for asking Kracker.... For the most part, it is now curing now. I've pulled buds out now and again for the wife an I to enjoy and it is not too bad. Overall, it is great! Sure beats wasting my money on crap.

Hey Feenix!

Well........To be quite honest, my first grow, this grow, was rushed at the end and I'm sure that the bud could have gone longer. I'm not good at providing smoke reports but I will tell you that it is great! I had 2 Blue Mystics in this grow. One of them turned out frosty as hell and the smoke is fantastic! 2-3 hits and I am gone!

On grow 2, I did 3 Blue Mystics and each of them was different from each other. One of them, Girl 3 blows me away in her smell. She is straight up 'Strong Fresh Blueberries'! It smells so awesome! You know, stupid me didn't even think of what a Blue Mystic was until I smelled Blueberry on this girl and had to look the strain up. It is a cross of Blueberry x Northern Lights! I Love it! It was a Nirvana and I WILL be ordering more from them. I noticed that they now have Auto AK-48! I'm waiting for them to come out with an Auto Papaya! Mmmmmmm.
