Seedling Question

Hi everyone I am a first time grower and its been a week and 3 days since germination of my crystal dwarf automatic & I put my seedling into my DWC 5gal bucket hydro system using rockwool & hydroton as my grow media. 7.5l air pump with 2 4" airstones. My grow light is a 357 magnum 2012 edition led grow light That is on a 20/4 light period. My seedlings looking a bit purple in the stem and the leaves are curling down. I have started a soil project before that ended with failure (knocked out of window to death ) & the leaves did not curl down. I am wondering if this is a problem & how do i fix it..

hows your Ph heres some charts on hydro and soil ph levels, they sound kinda hungry this is where i was at week one might help to referance.

Relax dude.. Auto-flowers are notorious for doing both. First time growers tend to over analyze everything.. I sure did!! Purple in the stem is ok. The curling down leaves could be for a number of reasons. Back off the light a little and pay paticular attention to heat the light is giving at it's current adjusted height. Don't over nute your ponics system. Use half of what it said and make sure the water is cool to the touch.. If the water goes above 75 deg then the plant will start having problems absorbing magnesium. Magnesium deficiency is by far the biggest problem for hydro-bubble ponic systems.. You can always add a little ( I MEAN A LITTLE) epson salt for extra magnesium.

i have not fed any nutes to the seedling yet, i plan on getting the botanicare series for everything needed for the grow. ph is good, i keep it between 5.5 - 5.8 & have been checking it every 2 days. I l also have the light about 1' 5" Above the seedling on veg lights. Here are some pictures

Hey everyone, the names sup im birdy & its been about a week & 3 days since germination. I used rockwool as my grow media and have just recently put it inside of a 5gal DWC hydro system with 2 4" air stones attached to a 7.5lt air pump, & a 10" net pot with hydroton. I keep the pH at a range of 5.5-5.8 & check it every 2 to 3 days. I use a 357 Magnum led light that is about 1' 4" above the seedling with the veg stage lights on. Currently the seedling has a purple stem & the leaves are curling down. May have a stun in growth, but I must say that I have not given nutes to the seedling yet, and I plan on getting the botanicare series for this journal. Here are some pictures so far. tomorrow i am going to get the botanicare hydro nutrient line up. i also just flushed my system, put new water in & pH'ed that to the 5.5-5.8 range.
