New Grower My first grow ever!

My first try with LST!

Here are some pictures I have taken this morning of my first attempt at some LST that I did after watering last night. I have already readjusted them a little. On the shorter plant "F" I have done very little, only pulling a couple branches with pistils away from the main cola, The taller lady, "B" was pulled down slightly and she is already going back upwards very well.

The growth is amazing on these plants, it is almost like I am waking up to a new person every day. I will keep updated with pictures, it turns out that there is a so-so white balance on one of the settings on my wife's point and shoot camera so this was an attempt with the HPS on.

LST looks good:toke:much luck the rest of the way.
keep it growing

Thanks stylez! :D I am hoping for lots of luck this grow. I had tons of help getting the pH closer to where it should be, just have to let nature keep doing her thing.

I don't remember exactly when FF recommends starting the Big Bloom, check their feeding schedule on their web site.

I am so bad for forgetting to do this. http://foxfarmfertilizer.com/index.php/frontpage/feeding-schedules.html according to this Big Bloom is started before Grow Big and at 1/2 strength. It looks like just before Tiger Bloom is added the strength of Big Bloom is reduced. Do you think I should suppliment with a light (1/4 strength) dose on my next feeding? They also have periods of flushing between grow and flower is this done on autos as well? Thanks :)

lst is looking good bro!

dont be scared to tie her down lower and pulling that branch lower.

gptta show her whos boss but be gentle at the same time.

if your currently at 1/4 dose during veg -- you can continue to 1/4 dose during flower and just increase.

goodluck the rest of the way my friend.

Did a watering with 1/2 strength Grow Big, and 1/4 strength Big Bloom with an ingoing ph of 6.5 and out of 6.4. The tall one got pulled down just a little more, and I pulled open some of the branches on F since she pushed her side branches past the fan leaves more. I also got a $3.00 garage sale humidifier that says it has 'invisible mist.' I thought that this would be a good bet so I would not have my plants getting misted while under the HPS. What an instant hit. Within an hour and a half the RH went up 15-20 percent.

Here are some shots of the tent.

Here is some of the shorter lady who is 11" tall. I was concerned about how dense her foliage was, but she is really pushing the branches that have some flowers on in out of that now :jump:

Here is the twisted lady, her tip is 12-13" from the soil, but since she is tied down I don't have an exact measurement.

She looks very thin from the side, but from the top view there seems to be a nice canopy forming, and there are a bunch of branches pushing up into the light that have flowers on them too!

Part of me wants to get super excited that there are lots of branches with flowers forming on them, but how much will these smaller sites usually put out? I am sure that it varies from strain to strain, but are the side branches really going to fill out that much? Am I getting excited over nothing?

Edit: Tried to put pictures where they belong since I hit submit before I actually attached them in order. Sorry for the mess of stuff at the bottom of this post.

All buds are good buds, some are just bigger. I saved the small buds and the sweet leaf (any leaf with visiable resin) and was glad to have them when the big buds were gone. You will really like how the branches fatten up. Your grow looks great and I can't wait for the smoke report.

Thanks virginia gent for bud help.
As a general question to users of fox far trio, do you do a plain pH watering between grow and bloom nutes? Any input would be great! thanks a bunch! =)

Hi Minmatar, just did my second fert with 5ml grow big and 5ml tiger bloom per gal. No nute burn and the tiger bloom seems to be helping the yellow problem child. Your lst looks good. I did water between but I don't think it really matters.

Thanks virginia gent! It looks like all vertical growth has either slowed drastically or stopped altogether. The last feed they got 1/2 str grow big 1/4 str big bloom I think next water I will give a good drink of clean pH water (should have been done this time as I suspected that vertical growth was done.) Then I will give a shot of tiger bloom after that. I really want to go straight to the tiger bloom, but I worry about any buildups in the soil.

Here are some pictures of them under the light in the tent.

Here is plant F, she smells good and it looks like there are some resin glands forming on some of the sugar leaves, I tried to get some pictures of it but my point and shoot camera did not do too good. Here is plant B, she has a good many branches, but with the LST she did form a canopy. Her smell is not as strong, but she is putting off a nice aroma. Not very strong yet. Hope you like the pics, soon I will have some really sexy bud pics! I did the math and they are only 40 days old, almost 6 weeks!
