Soo..ive been online doing lots n lots of studying to get a better grasp on this beautiful plant that we all love
And i finally think that i have a good enough handle on things to give it a shot myself. I have never done it before but really think that the benefits of not having to throw money away to these dispensaries is well worth the small investment in equipment to grow my own meds
I actually started this journal elsewhere, but figured i might as well put it where it belongs...on Autoflower.net! GREAT SITE!!!!!
The strain that i chose to do was the lowryder purple jems...ordered the beans from attitude and recieved a couple weeks later. Mainly chose this strain for its excellent bag apeal.. PURPLE!! (tho i hear many dont make the full transition to that lovely shade.) And also it is more on the stealth side smell wise! Is this true???
I will be operating a small closet (rough dimensions:2.5'x3'x6')
400 watt HPS light on 18/6 from start to finish. I dont think that the temps should be too big of an issue seeing as the room has pretty good airflow. Tho not an air cooled hood.
Temperature- 66-72 Lights out and around 75-80 lights on
Humidity- around 60%
Soil- Fox Farm Ocean Forest
Nutrients: Botanicare Pure Blend Pro: Grow & Bloom, Cal/Mag
Planning to use distilled water for entirety of grow
Also bought NEEM oil which im really hoping i dont have to use...havent found anyone spraying autoflowering plants down to much since...i guess because they flower so quickly.
Dont have a cam yet but will have something to take preliminary photos of setup and seedlings very soon! The eldest two plants are were planted on 3-29 and sprouted on the 3-31/4-1! Not completely sure but really late 31st or early 1st!
There will also be 3 more which sprouted on 4/6
Would enjoy any and all input...being that this is my attempt at popping that growing cherry!!
Will throw up some current pics of the two eldest Jems later today.
Pics below are of one of them and were taken 4/10= 10 days old (Crappy photos)
I have one question for anyone who can answer... I have some very important people coming to my house tonight at 730 til who knows when, and do not think that i will be able to cut on my 400 hps on time...how bad is to be 12 hours late on an 18/6 schedule. Will this mess up my cycle?
Normally Lights on time=6:00 pm/Lights off =1200 am
P.S. Later photos will be much better quality
