Indoor My first real grow

I also didn't want my fan/filter hanging from my tent because of weight & space issues. If it were me I would put the fan/filter outside the tent instead of sitting it on the tent floor. That way you will be able to use all the tent space for your plants. You can do it either way though.

Also, regarding your lighting. Are those 1000 watt lights able to run both MH & HPS bulbs?

I was wondering how much growing experience you have. This is quite an ambitious setup. I was just curious.

Yes my lights run both MH and HPS and I have bulbs for both I just prefer the HPS
That tent is 6x6 I never plan to put more that 12 in at a time so I think filter is ok there.
I have a 12" coming with my 2nd 8" filter. The 8" is for my cooler room and the 12" is going to be for the building itself and sit near the center of my rooms to catch the extra smell.

Any other questions or suggestions are welcomed.

Damn dude u making a farm .....I wonder now how the coolers will be for curing ....humidity ishould be able to be controlled like a humidor .....I'd ask question on this as to u gonna need some hanging space for curing ......good luck bro sounds like ya getting her done!!!:thumbs:

I really have my location secret so not even my friends that grow know where I am. A little paranoid I guess but as you said I am going bigger than just 4 plants in a closet. I just want to produce enough to eliminate my cost and help out my buddies. But I still wouldn't share my location with them. I have to feel as safe as I can when I am here each day.
So, I only have The Auto Flower Network and you more experienced growers to seek advise from. My friends laugh at the idea of AutoFlowers and think I am wasting my time.
I hope to prove them wrong.

Ok. I can relate to jumping right into the deep end. It's inevitable that you're going to have some problems though. All new growers do. When you start with that many plants, it means that your mistakes will be bigger. More plants affected, that is. I was also wondering about your electricity situation. Weren't you using multiple portable air conditioning units? I have one and it uses 1100 watts so i was just thinking with the 4 X 1000 watt grow lights and the portable AC units you're going to be using some serious juice. Hope your AC units use less juice than mine does. Where I'm livin you have to be careful about big increases in electricity consumption.

One more thing. You're wise to keep this to yourself like you said. It's not being paranoid. It's staying free. It's hard not to show your buddies but believe me, there's nothing to be gained. Last year I heard about an old "friend" that got into trouble for something. He wore a freeking wire to bust his buddy and avoid punishment. He turned states evidence. You can't trust anybody.

Same here bro ...as soon as I'm done with the grow around new years I'm taking a break to relocate to even more swamp deep ....I feel like Eben my old lady and 1 person I've known for 10 years are still to many!!

I hope no one is taking my post as cocky. Or the size of my first grow....I actually will be amazed if I pull it off. Happy but amazed.
I would have started at home with a small set up and practiced but I have a family and a special needs child so home was out of the question.
I smoke there and wifey is a pot head too but NO GROW! lol

I figure if I have to rent a spot and I found such a great deal on eqpt. why not use them both? Anything over 4 is big trouble anyhow. right?

I am in a old food factory. They used a shit ton of electric b4 me and I only use a third of my space. I only run central a/c in my tent and soon in to the cooler and only cool 1/3 of the entire location. I have a landlord on the take and no real worries. A knock on the door by LE wouldn't shake me a bit. I am really not exposed. Ok maybe I would sweat the knock a little.lol

So out with it....Do the auto flowers pack a punch like regular kind bud?

One thing I would definitely take into consideration if I were you is what your warehouse might look like through an Infra-red camera mounted on a flying asshole. With that much wattage in HID lights, I would either buy or borrow an accurate temperature sensing gun - the kind with the red dot pointer - so you can point it at your ceilings, exterior walls, etc. and make sure you're not sending a glowing beacon to flying LEO. They sell all types of IR blocking films, but I've never tried any of them and have no idea if they work. There are other ways to insulate and keep any residual heat away from exterior walls. Just my

It doesn't sound cocky. Ambitious is a better word to describe it. Your location sounds great. I must have misunderstood your AC situation. I thought those were 3 portable AC units in the picture you posted earlier.

Something to consider; with Autos you can do a perpetual grow. This would give you a chance to avoid making the same mistake on 12 plants at once. You could start with 3-6 plants, then plant the next group in 3-4 weeks. Then you can make adjustments on the next group of plants. You would have buds coming in a steady flow instead of all at once. It's also easier when it comes to manicuring. If you have 12 plants finish all at once you're in for a lot of tedious work. Manicuring is a pain in the ass. I really hate it because I'm totally anal-retentive and insist on turning every bud into a work of art. Anyway, just something to think about if you haven't already.

Regarding Autos vs Photos and their potency...Autos have come a long way and the potency should be really close or just as good if you have good genetics and give the plant what it needs. Good luck!
