Problem: Hi, For the last 3 days my Auto Blue maz has had the droops. I am pretty sure I am not over water/under watering her. She is about 45 days old now in mid stretch. All growth has stopped. I water by pot weight and double check with the accurate 8 ph/moisture meter.

Medium/grow method: Sunshine Mix#4

Feed: and supplements used: GH Flora series @ 50% aggressive veg feed, Cal mag

water source: Tap/river PH 6.3-6.4 (in soil PH changes to 6.8 after a few days)

Strain/age: 45 days Blue Auto Maz

light used: Mars 100w Cob

Climate: ******Recently moved plant from outside of tent with temps 65-68. Temps now are 72-75 and coincide with the droop.

Additional info: To combat the cold temps I had been using a heat mat. Could I have caused the plant to become very rootbound at the bottom of the Cloth pot ? Other changes since putting inside the tent include my ViparSpectra 900 (heating the tent) dropping some overlapping light on the plant. I had to fight a little with minor leaf curl/taco but I caught it pretty early. The only other thing of note is as a seedling she started pretty mutated. I believe this was due to cold temps.

It;s getting light , but not dry yet. I would say 2 days yet to when I would normally water. It seems to be drinking slightly slower than normal. Normal watering is once every 5 days, this one looks like it will be dry on day 7
"
I've been tempted to water it, as from all the reading I've done droop is usually a over/under water issue. But I don't think that is the "root" cause (mind the pun) of my issue.

Edit: Well I panicked and I gave her a good watering of GH Flora series transition to bloom @50% strength and a full dose of calnesium 16ml for 2 gal of water. I did check the pot again and while it wasn't at the point where I normally water, but it wasn't that far off either.

In a 3 gal pot it's usually pretty close when I can pick it up from the top pretty easily with one hand and not have any issues with the pot wanting to fall over from the weight.

well 4ish hours after watering still panicking. No signs yet of change. I'm sure it's too soon yet , will update again tomorrow in the morning.

A friend of mine just had to move some plants from one location to another. Most of them started to droop just like that after the move. I wouldn't panic yet. A good feeding and 3-4 days passed and all the effected droopy parts are back to normal.
After reviewing your pics, his looked even worse for the first 48 hours or so, but look beautiful now.
Of course, I can't say with certainty that the location/climate change is the problem with your plants. His were exposed to some harsh winter elements during the move.
But if that is the problem, they should come back with proper care.

Hey. I have had plants looking like that when there has been some problems with the roots. Either to much water, or to little. I belive its to little water as it goes so long between the waterings. When you are watering the pot, are you making sure the water gets everywhere in the pot? Down at the botton and sides?

I see some tasty buds in the background. Good job man.

I would like to say yes to "do I make sure water gets everywhere". But clearly I messed something up. So I will go with I think so. They are still droopy this morning. My normal water is 2 gal of water for a 3 gal pot. I am guesstimating it's about 10ish % run off. When the droop started they would have been pretty wet still.

Another change I have not mentioned is on the weekend I reduced my daily light cycle by 30 mins for the week. I have always been 24 hours light , I thought I would slowly reduce the light by 30 mins each week to get to 18/6.

Thank you guys so much for helping me out with this.

ohh and btw, the "tasties" you mentioned in the background, is white cheese and a stunted Think different that I kept in a .5 liter pot. She's not a tastie yet, but she sure is a smelly :pass:

Here comes a quick reply.. you wrote " My normal water is 2 gal of water for a 3 gal pot.I am guesstimating it's about 10ish % runoff ".
I estimate 1gal to 3.8 liters or something. Are you sure u u give 2 gal water to a 3 gal pot?
For a 3 gal pot i have given around 0.5 gal/2 litres per watering, more is impossible, max 2.3 litres.

Think different has a great high :)

hmm our #;s are pretty far apart. I feed it 8 liters, a little short of 2 gals. My watering jug I use is 1 liter that a dunk in a 5g home depot pail. I use sunshine mix [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG]. I don't add anything too it. It bothers me how much and long it holds water. Around 5 liters and the bottom of my cloth pots start to get wet. The next 3 are to get run off.

Am I out to lunch, or is it just different soil mediums that I have to add 8 liters ?

No, 2 gallons for a 3 gallon pot is most likely too much.Try some castile soap and/or aloe vera flakes as a surfactant.your probably getting an uneven watering which leads to pockets and stunts development.it'll take maybe a cpl cups for initial wetting.then give a few cups over maybe 20 minutes or so until you get a small bit of run off in the tray/then,so smoke a joint then come back.if its gone give another cup or so till you see the half inch or so in the bottom of the tray appropriate for the size pot and then its ready.should have a solid weight and not off center.when you pick it up you should be able to feel a void if there ae pockets.but that can take experience sometimes/hope that helps
