New Grower my new start ....

good day to you all

I am new to autos so you will have to bear with me. here is a list of what I have and was hopeing to get advise on the best way to plan the grow.


tent set up...

• 1mx1mx2m tent
• 400 cfm w/can filter
• cool tube 400w cmh light w/ballast
• small occilating fan
• 350cfm exhaust for cooltube
• timers ..etc
• temps range from 60 to max of 80
• humidity is a stable 50% in the tent​

Box setup ...​

• .75m(d)x1.5m(w)x1.5m(h) lined with mylar​
• 2 - 2 foot 2 tube T5 fixtures​
• exhaust fan w/ filter (not sure of the cfm)​
• small occilating fan inside​
• timers .. etc.​
• temps same as tent .. humidity varies between 35 and 50 %

I will be using 1 gallon bags filled with promix BX, with pureblend pro nutes for soiless.​

Sooo this is what I have, and the lovely woman says I can't buy anything else. I would like to be able to be self sufficent so I wont have to be at the hands of ... well you know lol .​

Any help with placement or how both can be used together .. as well as seed recomendations will be greatly appreciated.​

You've got plenty to set yourself up for a perpetual grow. Autos are way way easier for perpetual than photos, you just have to have a lot of beans.. The only recommendation on auto strains I can give you if for Dutch Passion, and their Auto Blueberry. Awesome strain. Ive also heard great things about automazar... but someone with more expertise will be along shortly with more info. The only advise I may have is 50 percent humidity is a bit higher than I keep it, could run into problems when you get late in flowering. Hope any of that helps!

Thanks for the input mallo .. I will take a look at dutch passion seeds. And the tip on humidity .. I'm sure I can drop it down to 40% or so without much problem. Just have to figure out how many plants and the best use of the box and tent. not even sure if the florecents in the box will be of use or not.

great reports of strains in there, that should keep you up to date with the strains :thumbs:

I'm not sure what you mean by best use of the tent and box.. I'd grow cannabis in them personally. jk. You can grow and flower in the same tent with auto's because they are not light dependent, throw the light on 18 hours or 20 hours a day and its good for veg or bloom. I would use your hid (cmh) for blooming for sure. Maybe use the box for seedlings and early veg, then throw them in the tent to flower. Hope that helped. If not let us know.

I have looked at a few, but the problem is I cant really read that well since my stroke. That's kinda why I was asking for seed reccomendations, but I will keep trying to get thru them.

Well I guess I didn't explain what I needed that well ... sorry. LOL ohh I plan on growing cannabis, but I was hoping on getting some info on how many I could put in my tent at once (I know it would depend on which strain, which was the reason for seed reccomendations). That way I can figure out what kind of rotation i would need. I wasn't sure if just the flo's would be good enough to veg the autos, so I thank you for that info.
