OK, so I started 2 seeds Same method. Only difference this time around, as I unsure of them germing I added a real light dose of Hormex. 1/4 teaspoon to 1 gallon water, and 2 drops of gh fluro, micro, and bloom. Great news, tap root, so game on. Strangely over night I have tap root poked out 1/8th inch or so, Last time took me 4 days. You guys must be sending some real loads of growing Karma. Thanks. If not I got mad skills, lmao.
I picked up a 4x4x7 tent, also a 4 ft 8 bulb SunBlaze T5 light with 8 6500K bulbs for veg. I also thinking of getting a 2ft x 2 ft x 3ft tall tent as well with 4 bulb fluro, this will be a seedling only tent, Its not needed now, but thinking future. The fluro may even be just a t-8 with proper bulbs, seedling require very little and t-8 I could place so close they touch no harm. Summer hits a fence is going up as well as a true grow shed. For now, I need all the space my old grow room in my pole barn took up.
Though, I may skip the fence this year and resort to some real old habits from my past. Something I am not fond of, but depends on cash flow. At moment, getting back to growing. Got a 600 watt in waiting for these little girls to grow up and get sexy.
At moment waiting on newest order of seeds to arrive, not saying what ordered, but will give a hint. Thinking a bit Different and deciding if I am going to scrog/sog lst. I may just grow all natural and tie off branches as needed.
Thats what I love about growing, So many different ways to grow, and so little time do them all. I wish I was able to possess 4k plants. I would run every system out there and every method possible. But alas a pipe dream.
As for the top drip setup. I am waiting till next month. I spent a little more then planned this month, and cc is getting a bit weak. But I swear I will post up as soon as I get back to it. Was a hard hit eating 200 bucks in pumps this month then deciding go all out like I did.
Just an partial of it. I had a 3/4 hole drilled and gromments added from 1/2 pipe. 2 air stones per bucket. At time of meltdown each bucket had its own pump feeding 3 gallons of nutes thru a 1/2 line, which was reduced to 1/4 inch. I was running open flow but had made a ring to rest just below the ht. I punched several holes in the hose and as said had planned to bury it around plant.
Top of bucket was cut with an 1/4 inch bit to fit the pump cord thru and 2 holes in net pumps 1/4 to pass feed hose and air line into/from bucket.
If I was going to add a res, I was going to place buckets above and allow gravity to return the nutes to bucket.
One thing noted, at start needed to flood 10 minutes for every 2.5 hrs, anything more plants were waterlogging. as plant grew it could have probably taken more feed times.
There nothing else say, Wrote a book as it is.
Time to go medicate and watch tap roots form, as the ups man makes deliveries.
